This morning Jacob came into the bedroom shortly after 9am. He crawled in bed and was happy to see Daddy was home. Adam woke up closer to 10am. After the boys were done eating their cheerios we headed into town. Stopped at Tim Horton’s, Dunken Donuts, Salvation army, and Walmart. When we got home we had lunch. Adam lay down for a nap around 2pm. Jacob played with his tractors and watched a movie. I did some laundry and some cleaning up. Then I made a couple drawstring bags for some camping items. Jacob and Daddy had fun hiding under a sheet and having me come find them. Adam woke up soon after 5pm. Jacob was sitting at the table and held up his correct hands and feet saying, “dis my right hand, dis my right foot, dis my left hand, dis my left foot”. After dinner we headed to town to watch the fireworks display. Got there around 6:30. They had some bands playing music. We set out a couple chairs and a blanket. The boys played with their tractor. Then Jacob wanted to run down the hill. First he ran down it by himself. He then wanted me to come with him. Adam followed us up the hill and then we all ran down. The boys loved playing ring around the rosie. Adam would fall down before the end. Daddy took Jacob over to watch a couple of guys juggling. We got out the snacks and they enjoyed that. Adam would put the snacks in the scoop of his tractor. Then he’d dump them out and say, “daa (dump)”. The boys had fun running around in the grass together. Once the fireworks started Adam sat on my lap and Jacob sat on Daddy’s lap. Adam would point and say, “pity”. He smiled and clapped his hands. Jacob said they were bright. His favorite fireworks were the green ones. It was such a fun family time. We waited in a long line to get across the bridge and back to our car. We were on the road by 11:15. Got home around 11:45. They boys fell asleep and stayed asleep as we lay them in bed. Oh yeh, the chicken that was missing yesterday and most of today is back in the coop this evening.

The pictures are great. I could print everyone of them. Great movies. I was going to say the fireworks is great but that would leave out the two little munchkins. It would appear that you have two boys with distinctive personalities. Adam's hat adds a whole lot to his dance. It was a good day. And...the chicken is back. More blue eggs. What's up with dealing with the skunk? Maybe they will just go away. Love you much. 22 sleeps! Yahoo.
Wow! Adams in the hat AND sunglasses to start my day! And then Jacob! And then lots of cute family pictures -- with Jared AND Kimmy, too! Wonderful set of pictures -- I understand why a grandmother would want to print them all.
