I woke up around 6am with Adam. Adam went back to sleep but I was wide awake. I washed our outdoor chairs and then went on the computer for a little bit. I lay back down at 7:30 and slept until 8:30 when Jacob crawled in our bed. After breakfast Daddy pulled up some short monster truck videos clips on the computer. The boys enjoyed watching them. We left for drinks and donuts around 10am. Jacob loves going in to help Daddy. We took a drive by our old house which we do often on Sat am. For the first time, it looks “lived in”. We went to Salvation Army, Goodwill and the pet store. Got home around lunchtime. After lunch we headed back into town with the trailer. Went to Home Depot to get some things for building a coop and fenced area for the rooster. Stopped at TSC, and then headed to Lowe’s. By the time we got home it was around 3pm. While Adam was napping we went outside. Daddy gave Jacob a nail pouch to wear and he was really proud to wear it. He loved being Daddy’s helper. Daddy got a board and nail. Jacob liked pounding the nail with his hammer. Jacob showed me the tape measure he carried in his pouch. I let Tiger (the cat) out of the trap (Jared had already let him out twice). Adam slept for three hours. By that time we had sunk the posts and got some of the fence up. Also, we dug down to bury some of the fence. We went inside for dinner. This evening we went back outside to finish the fence. Jacob sat in his chair and enjoyed feeding the chickens. We set up Adam’s playpen and he played while we finished the fence. Jacob climbed into the playpen to play with Adam. They sure were giggling alot. By the time we went inside it was time to get ready for bed. Before Jacob went to bed we took him outside to catch lightning bugs. He kept saying, “look, I’m so excited”. Daddy caught several bugs. When I caught one, he said, “yeh Mommy, good job” with his arms in the air. We set the bug container on his dresser so he could watch them as he lay in bed. After the boys were asleep, we had some ice cream and watch an old James Bond movie.

The chickens are beautiful. Where is Mr. Rooster's pen? Jacob looks so important. What a super little guy with parents that know enough to make him feel important. Yahoo for the big and little kids. Off to church soon.
The pictures of Jacob and the chickens are impressive -- those chickens are so big!
Check the mailbox tomorrow. Something for the little guys.
I'm so aware of bright blue eyes and very dark eyes in by grandsons. The bath time pictures are such good examples.
Looks like daddy has a very good helper. Very cute pictures. I love the one of Jacob sitting in the lawn chair with all of the chickens around him. Cute bathtime pictures too. Nice that the boys play so good together and and giggle and have such fun.
