Adam's new backpack. He doesn't like to wear it.

Jacob would run back on the trail and say, "look how far I am, watch me". Then he'd run towards us really fast.
Jacob holding a very small frog

We got up around 9am. The last couple mornings, before Adam wants me to lift him out of his crib, he hands me both of his blankets saying, “banebee”. Jacob pulled a yellow shirt out of Adam’s drawer and held it up to me saying, “look dat yellow shirt, dat could be struction yellow shirt”. Jacob loves to take off his close in the morning and also does a really good job at dressing himself. After breakfast Jacob and I drew on the dry erase. Adam played with his little people stuff and on his slide. We went outside for a little while. I took Jacob over to look at the skunk. While Adam napped Jacob played with his barn at the table and counted the money in his bank. I did some sewing. Jacob liked helping me sew. He'd push the peddle for me or pull out the pins. Adam woke up around 5pm. After dinner Jared went outside to shoot the skunk (scroll down for his story). That didn't happen. We took a trip to release the skunk at the city forest. After that we took a hike through the woods. Adam liked collection sticks. Daddy found a few tiny frogs and Jacob liked holding them. Mosquito's were bad. We ended at the top of the big hill that we had went sledding down this past winter. Daddy and Jacob rolled down the hill. When we got home it was around 8:30. Stayed outside for a little while. The goats ate a couple maple trees and the apple tree that we recently planted.

Love the pictures of the boys, especially the one of Jacob with the frog. Loved reading Jared's skunk adventure.

I remember one time at Shades where Jared went running along and said "WATCH THIS" and we did...we watched him slip and fall right on his face..it was pretty funny at teh time but Jared didn't think so.

Yup...the same Shades story. The trail was really wet and slippery and I thought it was a sure bet that JB would be in the mud before he got to us. He didn't let us down. The little frog picture is really good. Jacob's expression is the best. And...Adam with a stick walking the path. What boys. Frogs and sticks...There are no better toys.

Kimmy, you did a great job on the backpacks for the boys. I can't wait to see them in person. Bring them when you come if you think of it. Do you think if I can't find farm animal bibs for the shower, you could make some like Jared's mom's. I'll get the material. I love the bibs you guys make.
