Jacob was undressing and said, "you wanna take a picture, dats so punny". We had to go get the camera and snap some funny pictures.
After Jared left for work I got up and worked on unpacking and laundry. I worked on catching up the blog until the boys woke up around 9:30. Around 11am we headed into town. First we went to the auto shop to try and cancel the order made. We needed Jared’s card to do that. Then we walked over to Salvation Army and walked around in there. I got a Tim Horton’s cappuccino on our way to Meijer. It was around noon when Jacob started complaining that he was hungry. I told him I had packed them a lunch and he asked “what you make me por lunch?” After we were done grocery shopping Jacob helped hand me things to scan. When we were putting things into the car I noticed we had forgotten to scan some crackers that were on the bottom of the cart. I finished unloading things and then headed in to pay for them. We got home around 2pm. Adam fell asleep and stayed asleep when I lay him in his crib. Jacob played with his Lego’s while I changed the trash, washed a bunch of dishes (our dishwasher is not working), and put away some laundry. I typed the blog while Jacob rested. He played with his cars and a tractor. I prepared a meatloaf dinner and Jacob climbed on the chair to help me. He said, “I wanna be you helper”. He handed me the potatoes to peel and helped me pour in things for the meatloaf. Jared came home around 5pm and Adam had just woken up. After dinner we went outside. Jared and I pulled weeds out of the garden. The boys played with their ride on truck. Adam likes to pick up rocks and sticks. Jared did some trim mowing with the push lawn mower. I pushed Adam in the swing and Jacob played in his sand. Around 8pm one of Jared’s coworkers and his son came over. His little boys is a couple months younger that Jacob. Jacob showed him the animals. He caught a chicken for the boy to pet. The boy was quiet at first but soon was running around chasing the chickens. We took him over to see the goats/sheep but he wanted to go back to the chickens. Jared helped the guy get our car carrier, that they are going to use, strapped to the top of his car. They talked while the kids played. The boy was very misbehaved and treated the chickens very poorly with some violent behaviors. I was glad when they left around 9:30. Took the boys inside for a quick bath before bed.

Jared's broken?? oh wait he's not the dishwasher...he's the soap dispenser..opps
Sounds like your little visitor was way, way over stimulated. I think that could happen easily with such an exciting and different place to visit. Wow...just think of the space one needs to check out when jumping out of the car. Out of control behavior follows. He could also have adults control his behavior and that element was missing when Jacob took him to visit. Hard behavior to reign in after the horse (kid)is out of the barn. Lovin' the fun pictures of Jacob. What a ham!
Next time you go camping...and you do foot prints in the sand...take along some plaster of paris and pour that mix into the food prints...You have a good memory of how big or small their feet were at that moment. We did that one year with bear tracks and goose tracks at Copper Harbor. What fun.
After all you did today, Kimmy, I think you need another vacation.
I am getting ready to scroll on down and watch the videos and catch up on the last of the camping pics.
