Gage
This morning Jacob came into the bedroom around 7am. He slept in our bed until around 8am. We made pancakes for breakfast per Jacob’s request. Adam slept in until shortly after 10am. It was a fun morning just relaxing and playing with the boys. Adam loves to sit on the exercise ball with Mommy or Daddy and bounce. Jacob really enjoys playing catch with the small bouncy ball. I did some sewing. Jared fixed the dishwasher so its nice to be able to use that again. Adam took a nap from 1:30 until 3:30. While he was asleep we went outside for a little bit. I pulled weeds from the garden. Jared picked up sticks in the yard and talked to the neighbor. Jacob played in his sand and then went to stand by Daddy. Close to 4pm we left to meet family and enjoy the firework display. We made a couple stops on the way and got there around 5pm. We parked and got thing packed. We got there first, then Mel and her family, followed by my parents, Vik and her family, and some close friends. Melissa came with her two kids, Eve (she is 3 wks older than Jacob) and Gage (19 months). The kids all had fun playing together. They played with cars, bubbles, sticks, the jump rope, or just ran around. They also had fun trying on Papa's hats. Jacob liked playing catch with the velcro mits. We watched the sky divers jump from the airplanes. As it started to get darker we changed the boys into their pj’s. Then we got out the light up toys for the kids to play with. The fireworks display was awesome. Adam sat on Nana’s lap and fell asleep before the end of them. Jacob sat on my lap. Max sat on Rich’s lap next to us. Jacob liked talking to him. He’d say, “you like dat one Max?” or tell him, “Max, laugh”. After the fireworks were done, Jacob cheered and clapped his hands along with the rest of us. We quickly packed and then hiked almost a mile away to where we were parked. Traffic is always really bad so we parked far away hoping not to get stuck in it. Got to our car around 11:15 and didn’t have to wait in traffic at all. Made it home by 11:45. Both boys slept on the trip home.

Wonderful pictures again! It appears that you managed to get ALL POSSIBLE combinations of your whole family! This family, that family, these cousins, those cousins, this set with grandparents, that set with grandparents . . . It looks like a great day.
Does Midland ever NOT have fireworks or a parade?
