Max came into the bedroom around 7am and cuddled between Kenzie and I. Jacob came in saying he was awake around 7:30. Adam woke up when he heard the boys talking. Hailey was up by 8am. While the kids watched Curious George and Clifford, Adam put things in the stroller to push around. Around 9:30 we went outside. Kenzie woke up and came out to join us. We went back inside at snack time. The girls made some houses and played with their dolls. The boys played with their trucks and tractors. All three of them were making truck sounds. Before lunch we got out the art box. After lunch the kids helped clean up the house and then we went outside. Nana came over. At 1:30 we went back inside for a snack and drinks. Adam and Max napped. Jacob and Hailey lay down for a little while and rested. Nana took Kenzie outside to swim. Soon Jacob and Hailey joined Kenzie in the pool. They had so much fun. Jacob said he loved going under the water and dumping buckets over his head. Mom and Kenzie left for the hospital. Vikki met them there. Jacob and Hailey continued to have fun in the pool. It was very, very hot outside. We came inside at 4:00. Jacob and Hailey sat on the couch and watched a construction video. Nana came back around 5pm. Adam woke up when she got there and he cuddled with her in the chair. We fed the kids dinner before heading up to the hospital. The boys and I got there shortly before Nana, Hailey, and Max. Jacob loved the ride in the escalator. Jacob smiled as he saw Jack in the crib. He didn't want to hold him right away. Adam wanted to sit on my lap as I held Jack. He loved rubing his head and pointing to his nose. Hailey and Max came and wanted to hold their brother. Jacob also wanted to with them. We enjoyed watching the kids admire the new baby. They loved feeling his soft skin and petting his head. Aunt "Meme" opened up the blanket so they could see his little feet. Max got down but Jacob didn't want too. He scooted closer to Hailey and asked to hold him. The nurses came to discharge Mel and Jack. Before leaving Jacob asked if he could take the baby home. We stopped at a couple stores on the way home. Got home at 9pm. The weather cooled down alot and there was a thunderstorm outside. Jacob wanted to wear his construction vest and played with his money bag. He wanted me to get his bank so he could put more change in the bag. Jared got home soon after we did. We are so happy to have him back home. The boys were very excited to see him.
