The boys slept in until around 9am. They looked cute in their dino pj's so I took some pictures of them by the Christmas tree. Truman walked right up and sat next to Adam - so I got some pictures of my three boys. Jacob again enjoyed watching the snow. We got more than yesterday and it was covering our car. Jacob took his stool out the the entrance way so he could look at the car. I brought in a container of snow for Jacob to play in and he liked seeing it eventually melt. Adam still has a cold and is teething - however he did get a good nap in today. Jacob wanted to play with the stools except today he wanted us both to drive firetrucks. He wanted Adam to sit in the swing next to us and pretend that was his car seat. Then Jacob decided to go and get something and came back with two lids to his bowls which he said had pizza on them. I asked him for some choc milk and he ran back to get us each some. I could only hear him making pouring sounds and then he came back and handed me his fist made like a cup. Wait - he forgot something - ran back to get two more lids. He handed me one but I couldn't understand what he was saying they were - then he set one down and put his fist on it - they were costers to set our drinks on. My pizza was hot so he took it and put it in his pretend freezer - we counted to 10. He can count to ten but needs help with the number four. Then we had fun playing with blocks. Its funny to see him copy things that I do. He asked me to knock over his train so he could tickle me after I did. I let him watch Rudolf the Red Nosed Raindeer - which I shouldn't have because he was really scared of the abominable snowman. I forgot how scary it can be. He said, "no watch that gen Mama - dat scare me, he bite people" and he wanted me to hold him. He took a long nap this afternoon and woke up after Jared was home from work. We did some shopping this evening and went to the mall to walk around. Saw my cousin Shani and Steve - we had a nice visit with them.

Had a nice day today. Jacob was excited to watch it snowing this morning. Adam refused to take any naps today. He was happy as long as I was near him. Jared left as soon as he got home from work to take our gravity wagon to be filled with corn. I got Jacob some paper and his scissors and he practice cutting while I colored a picture. Adam sat happily in his highchair munching on cheerios. He really works on trying to pick up the cheerios with his fingers, but so far can only pick them up in his fist. Adam has figured out how to clap his hands. He expecially likes to do it while I'm saying pat-a-cake or yeah. We went outside to watch Jared fill up the first bucket or corn using out gravity wagon and the funnel he built. I works great. Jacob got to go inside to wagon on top of all the corn. He helped Daddy carry the bucket inside. Jacob and I were playing with the stools, sitting under the counter - him driving a tractor and me driving a motorcycle - when he looked at me and said, "I pee Mama". I replied, "You have to go potty, lets go" to which he said, "no, I just pretend". He got up and grabbed the pillows from the couch. One was his potty, the other a sink, and the third pillow was a hand dryer. Adam sat next to us and Jacob buckeled him in. Then Jacob said, "Uh on, it too tight, I fix it" as he pretended to loosen it. We had some strawberry ice cream tonight - which was really good. Jared says its not as good as the jilbert's strawberry ice cream he gets in Copper Harbor. Maybe I'll have to try that next trip - I don't know, I pretty hooked on playdough.

Mel and her family came over this evening. The kids were so excited to see each other. They ran up and down the hallway laughing all the way. They play so well together. We made pizza for dinner and after dinner we gave Max his birthday gift. Jacob couldn't wait for him to open it up - he had helped me wrap it earlier. After they played for a little bit I gave Max a haircut. It turned out really cute - he's such a handsome little guy. He did very well - cried some but held really still. He kept saying "I dirty" as his hair fell on his hands.

Adam woke up at 6am to eat and then slept until 9am. Jacob woke up at 7:30. Bruce came over around 8:30 to bring us their microwave - they got a new one. When Bruce pulled in our driveway and I told Jacob that who was here he started jumping up and down, clapping his hands saying, "I like Boo, I like Meme". He was very excited to see Uncle Bruce. Bruce got a big hug and then Jacob wanted to show him the Christmas tree. He pointed out the candy canes on the tree. Adam was a little fussy this morning so I gave him a dose of Tylenol. Jacob played with his trucks and when I asked him if his semi truck was Mack he said, "no Mack - Peter built Mama" (like they say in the Cars movie). Jacob loved looking at all the ornaments on the tree. His favorite is the little bird that sits on a branch. He got his doctor kit out saying, "Uh oh, tweet tweet sick" and then he listened to it using his stethoscope and said, "boom boom". Adam was ready for a nap around 11:00. Jacob kept asking to go outside so while Adam was napping I took him out to play. He brought out his truck and played in the dirt in the barn while I checked on the animals water. I put the heater in the horses tank. It was really cold and windy out. Then Jacob wanted to play in his sand. When we came inside I made Jacob some hot chocolate and myself some coffee. If I'd drink my coffee using one hand Jacob would say "like this, two hands Mama" as he showed me how to hold the mug. Jacob fell asleep for his nap really quickly today. I had fun playing with Adam while he was asleep. Adam loved sitting on the couch and looking at/tearing up my magazine. This evening Jacob asked Daddy to get out the racetrack and he was so excited when he said yes. Both boys had fun watching the car go around the track. Jacob tried to put together his own track and Daddy helped him do the finish pieces. I was laying on the floor playing with Adam when Jacob came over with a blanket and covered him up saying, "I cover up Adam" with a smile on his face. When we tucked Adam in for bed Jacob brought his stool next to the crib so he could also say goodnight. After Jacob's bath, bedtime stories and prayer he ran out of his bedroom saying, "look Mama". He went over to the Nativity, looked at each one and said goodnight to them.

The boys woke up around 7:30am. They both slept so good last night. Jacob was so tired we didn't even read his bedtime stories - he fell asleep within minutes. This morning I was telling Jacob that Aunt Missy was going to have a baby and he said, "Uh-ha right". Then he said, "no me have baby, I play piretruck, I play car, I play truck". Around 11:00 we headed to the bank and then to Nana's house. Jacob was so excited to see Nana - he ran to give her a hug and kiss. Adam played happily while we had lunch. Then I gave him a bath in the sink and got him ready for his doctor appointment. Jacob stayed with Nana while we went to Adam's appt. Adam weighed 20 lbs 0.5 oz and is 28 inches for height. Adam had 6 separate shots - he did great and stopped crying as soon as I picked him up. When we left the doctors it was very cold and rainy outside. Stopped to get a few groceries and then headed back to my moms. Left as soon as we got home to go pick up the saturn and then went to meijer. When we got home we had vegetable soup for dinner which my Mom had made - thanks Mom, it was really good. Adam tried cheerios for the first time - he liked them. I put a bunch on his tray and he tried to pick them up but wasn't able to - he'd fuss until I put another one in his mouth. Tonight we set up the Christmas tree. Jacob was so excited. He jumped up and down saying a cheer, "go Daddy go, go Daddy go" as he put together the tree. He put the beads around his neck saying "I got long hair". Then he helped Daddy bring out boxes while I spread out the branches. Adam loved watching and seeing the lights. Jacob helped put on ornaments until we were all finished. Then we put on the candy canes. He and Daddy set up the Nativity and after his bedtime prayers he ran out to say goodnight to each one.
