Max spends the night:)

Yesterday morning we got the boys ready and went out to Dunkin donuts and Tim Hortons. Jacob always gets a donut hole and choc. milk, I get a muffin and fv cappichino, and Jared gets two donuts and a oj. Then we headed over to the amish auction, arriving around 9:30am. Jacob was excited to look at all the tractors. We let him sit in several of them. I packed a picnic lunch and around noon we sat on blankets under the shade tree and ate lunch. It was so nice and cool in the shade. We looked at some brush hogs and Jared bid on a couple but they went over what we wanted to pay. We did end up getting one for less then half the price of the others and it is in better condition. Now we just had to figure out how to get it to our place. It was around 2pm when we left the auction. We were able to use my parents new trailer and Dad went with Jared to pick it up. Mom and Grandpa stayed with me and the boys. It was beautiful outside so we sat out there and watched Jacob play. He played in his truck, then went down the slide, and up the apple tree. Adam was happy sitting in Nana's lap. Then we went inside and had chili for dinner. When Dad and Jared got there, I warmed up chili for them and we had ice cream for dessert.

This morning we had to take Celeste to her new home. Her new owners live about 70 miles away. Celeste took a little while to load on the trailer but she didn't do too bad. The boys were perfect on the trip there and on the trip home. These people live in a beautiful log cabin, two story house. The inside is even more beautiful than the outside with log steps to a downstairs and upstairs and posts in the house that looked like trees. Jacob had to use their potty while we were there - they have a 2 1/2 yr old grandson so we were all set using his little potty. Unloading Celeste, we pulled down the ramp which she was already pushing with her butt. Then she came backing out, snaping the rope she was tied to. She ran off to eat some grass and stepped on Jareds foot twice, leaving it black and blue and swollen. We turned her loose with another 7yr old Belgian draft horse (who was about her size), a mini horse (named Clarence, who looked exactly like my mini Moses), and a mini mule. Jacob was holding onto the gate and petting their labrador when suddenly the dog cried and ran off to the barn fast. Jacob looked up at me and said, "Ouch" rubbing his hand. The gate shocked Jacob and went from him to the dog. It also shocked me, Jared, Celeste and the owner. They were very nice people and I was glad to see her get such a good home. They told us to come and visit any time. When we were leaving, Celeste watched us and neighed. On the way back we stopped and picked up Max who is spending the night with us. After there we stopped at Jeanne's to give them back their trailer. When we got home the boys played until it was time for dinner. After dinner I took them in for a bath together. Max loved playing with the ducks, Jacob preferred playing with the bubbles (putting them on Max's head or laying down in them). Max didn't even stop playing when Jacob put bubbles on him. Max kept saying, "Mama, DaDa" really loud and with a huge smile (pictured below). They ran around the house naked and then I got them in their pj's. Jacob had gotten the Cars movie from Jeanne today so he wanted to watch it. I set the boys in the chair and turned it on while I fed Adam. By the time I was done feeding Adam, Max was sound asleep and Jacob had a grin. After a little bit, I took Max and lay him in the playpen in Jacob's room. Jared sat in the chair with Jacob and then they moved to the floor where Jacob fell asleep.
