Today we took the boy to their first baseball game. We planned on meeting Melissa and her family at the entrance at 2:15 - the game started at 3pm. We waited there for a long time and when it got to be after 3pm I was really worried about them. We saw a couple we know from our church and they let us use their cell phone to call them. They had been waiting at the entrance around the back of the stadium - someone told them that was the only entrance they could go in at. It was a warm day but there was a nice breeze. The kids had fun dancing to the music and munching on cheetos. I brought the large umbrella so Adam could be out of the sun. Our team lost and the Fort Wayne Wizards won. What fun! Afterwards Mel and her family came over and we had pizza. Jacob fell asleep as soon as we started to drive home. He had a hard time waking up at home but had fun playing once he did wake up. We went outside to see Sammy and put him in the stall for the night. Took some pictures of Hailey and Max by Celeste. Hailey is a little timid by such a large animal, but Max wanted to give her kisses. After they left Jacob helped me pick up toys. While Jared was putting Jacob's pj's on he said he had to go potty and ran over to the potty and went right away. Adam was a little fussy so Jared rocked him while I read to Jacob. Both boys fell asleep quickly tonight.

I am so pleased that the Jared family children play so often with the Bruce family children. That's what cousins are for. Now if the Indy Fever can beat that Detroit WB team life will be fine.

While attending this game I came to realize I've seen more Ft. Wayne Wizard games in Ft. Wayne than I've seen Loons games in Midland... kind of funny to think about.
