Jacob played with his trucks this morning while I was rocking Adam. Adam was so happy, smiling and talking away. Jacob looked at me and said, "Come play mama". Adam fell asleep so I lay him in his crib and played with Jacob. After lunch we got out Jacob's crayon's, scissors, and a glue stick. We colored a sheet of paper and then I helped him cut it into little pieces. Then he and I glued the pieces paper onto another sheet. Jacob would cut using both his hands and I held the paper for him. As he was cutting he'd move his mouth - it was so cute. He tried to cut using one had like me but seemed to get frustrated with that. I gave him some magnets and he hung the paper on the fridge. While Jacob took a 2 1/2 hr nap, I got to spend time with Adam. Whenever I show him a toy he reaches for it and pulls it right to his mouth. He was talking so loud that I took him back to our bedroom so he wouldn't wake up Jacob. When Jared got home Jacob showed him his artwork from earlier. It had cooled off outside so we went out for a while. Jared found a small toad and we showed it to Jacob. He was so excited and loved when it would jump out of his hands. Jared put the toad inside his little truck and Jacob pushed it around. Jared went into the barn and Jacob continued playing with the toad. He carried it over to the barn, looking for Daddy and saying, "look Daddy, Daddy look". A little later Jacob found a catipillar, picked it up, and ran over to show Daddy. Then he brought it over for me to hold. I was glad it was curled up and not crawling around. I got out my bike and washed it up. Jared filled up the tires with air and attatched the kids cart so I could pull Jacob behind me. We took about a 5 mile bikeride. As we went over the bumps I could hear Jacob's shakey voice. He was having so much fun. Later we all layed down on the floor and watched the beginning of the colts game. Jacob covered Adam up with a blanket right up to his neck.

Kimmy, you certainly pack a bunch of kid stuff into your day. Good for you. It's great mother stuff. Now toads. It rained last night. Can't remember when that last happened. Go COLTS
I was just thinking how fortunate Kimmy is to be at home doing all these things with her two boys -- and then I saw Lela's comment. Great minds . . .
Our lizard (read my blog for earlier details) is still showing up each night around 6:30 to climb the plant in our parlor and to sleep there. I never realized lizards were so territorial. If Jacob were here, I would show it to him.
I feel very fortunate to be home with our boys and am enjoying our days together. I'm sure Jacob would be facinated to see Buddha-Nature. Kimmy
GO COLTS.
