Hailey as we left her house:)

We went out to dunkin donuts this morning on our way to take Adam to Mel's house. She is watching him while we go on a tour of Vikki's work and then to the lunch and carnival put on by her work. My sister works on an assembly line at Delphi. She showed us step by step how they put this pump together. Kenzie and I tried it a couple time but we were not very fast and needed some help. After that we walked over to her assembly line and she showed us each station on the line and explained to us what was done there. I really enjoyed seeing where she works and now we can put a picture to things she is telling us - thanks Vik for inviting us. Rody got a call saying that his Dad was being taken to the hospital so he had to leave right away. We went to the carnival where a huge monster truck was running over cars - Jacob thought that was cool. There were some pretty cool old tractor, cars, and motorcycles to look at and lots of activities and rides to go on. They had hot dogs, chips and pop and also carmel apples and cotton candy. We took Kenzie and Jacob into the activity tent. First we carved things out of soap which was really fun. We did a few other things but then Vikki got a call saying that Rody's Dad had passed away. The kids did a couple other activities and then we left. Rody's Dad has been battling cancer for years. Please keep Rody and his family in your prayers. We took Vik and Kenzie home and then went to pick up Adam. He was eating when we got there and then fell asleep for a little bit. Max and Bruce were also sleep and Hailey put her hands out and said, "All the boys are asleep". This evening Jared tilled up the garden. I took the boys outside and Jacob played in his sand. It felt really hot in the sun so I filled up Jacob's pool. I though it would maybe be warm enough tomorrow to swim in. Jacob wanted to go in even though it was really cold, so I took off his shorts and he climbed in. He wanted me to come in also so I got in and splashed around with him making him laugh. He kept saying, "Look Daddy, Daddy look". Jared was tilling the garden and couldn't really hear him, but he watched him. Then I got him in some dry clothes and he wanted to play on his slide. I pushed Adam in the swing and he seemed to like it. Our slide is real fast so Jacob would usually take a face dive at the bottom, but he thought that was funny.

As I was typing this I called out to ask Jared a question - when I got no response I went out and found him and Jacob asleep on the couch.

All my boys are asleep.
