We were up by 8:30. The boys came in our bed for a little while, then we had to get up and get ready for church. We left for church at 9:15. Jacob hurried to his seat when I took him back to his class. He always turns to smile at me before I leave. Adam had fun back in the nursery. We stopped at meijer for a few thing before going home. This afternoon while Adam was napping we went outside to work some more on taking down the bushes/trees. Jacob sat on a blanket in the grass. He ate his snack and played with his binoculars. Then he ran over to play in his fort and on his slide for a while. He then came back to play with his "cutter thing". Mel and her family came over for a visit. They brought carrots to feed to the horses. I got out Sammy and saddled him up so the kids could ride. First Hailey helped me brush him. She was interested in watching him get bridled and saddled. She took the first ride. After a while she started having fun using the reins. Max rode next. He enjoyed riding and said, "em I riding a tractor horsey?" Jacob asked for the next turn. He also liked using the reins and going down the hill. Adam woke up from his nap and came out for a turn. He didn't want to ride by himself but really enjoyed riding with Daddy. Mel handed Jack up to Uncle Jared but he was hungry and wanted his Mommy. She nursed him and then took Jack for his first ride. He's Sammy's youngest rider yet. He started to cry but as soon as Sammy started walking he seemed to really like the ride. Hailey, Jacob, and Max played in the hole for the sandbox. The swimming pool is down there and has some rain water in it. They pretended to fish with some sticks. We went inside so I could give Max a haircut. I put in the Cars movie for the kids to watch while I cut his hair. He did really good for most of it. He didn't mind when I used the scissors but did not like the clippers at all. Jared made dinner. We had grilled hot dogs, fries, and corn-on-the-cob from our garden. The corn was really good. The kids had fun playing together. I was holding Jack on the couch and Adam crawled up next to me. He loved rubbing his head and gave Jack lots of kisses. Shortly after 8pm we got the kids in their pjs. Mel and her family headed home around 8:30.

GREAT PICTURES!!! Those ones of Jack with Sammy turned out really cute. We sure had a great time! Oh, and the kids did end up falling asleep on the way home. Yeah! Thanks for letting us borrow the pjs.
Wonderful to see that Sammy can enjoy his riders. It looks like a wonderful day.
I think they are great pictures also. I love that Sammy though and I'm so happy to see riders on him again. I loved the one of Melissa riding him with no horse leader. God is so good!!! He blessed us with such a great horse and then healed Melissa and she can ride him by herself and normal now. We are blessed! I think the pictures with Jacob wearing the Horse helmet are adorable. What a handsome boy he is. Looks like the kids had great fun in the hole.
Don't have to take them far for
great fun. Love to all!
