Jacob is trying to get a view like Daddy did.

The boys liked running down this hill.

Adam loves the giant elephant and giraffe.

After the boys were in bed last night, Jared and I had popcorn and watched, "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days". We all woke up around 8am. The boys came into our bed for a little while. Adam saw that Jacob was playing with a car and he also wanted one. We went down to the bedroom to get him one. The boys played for a short time and then both of them ran down to Jacob's bedroom and to hide on me. Yesterday I was taking apart the boys car seat for washing and Jacob asked, "why you cleaning my comfy car seat?" The car seats were dry this morning so I put them back together. I vacuumed out the van before putting them back into it. When I opened the door to the van I found Jo (our calico cat) in the driver's seat. She had been locked in there since yesterday evening. We headed to town for drinks and donuts. On the way we stopped at the ATM. Jacob told Daddy to tell "the lady" that we were going to get chocolate milk and donuts. Jared and I laughed thinking about Jacob being 15 yrs old with his friends in the car and saying, "don't do it Dad". After leaving Dunken Donuts we took a drive past our previous house. We typically drive past it on Saturday mornings. After 5 yrs it now has someone living there. We like to admire the "fine looking roof". We stopped at Salvation army, JoAnne Fabric's, and Goodwill. Got home around noon. At Salvation army we found a Crazy 8's tonka game. After lunch we played it with Jacob. Jacob and I played against Daddy. Adam liked sitting in the chair next to Daddy. We had lots of fun. Then Daddy and Jacob played a matching game. While Adam was napping we went outside to work on clearing the brush/trees. Jacob played near Daddy. I worked on clearing the "jungle" at the other side of the paddock. After a long time, Jacob walked over to see me. He explained to me how Daddy had told him to get to me. We walked back so I could help Jared pile up the trees that he had cut down on that side. Jacob had fun playing with a "woolly worm". Before going inside we moved the horses to a different paddock. Jacob hung onto Sammy's leadrope also and helped me lead him to the other paddock. I hemmed several work pants for Jared. My sewing machine is working great now. I found a free instruction manual for my sewing machine online - it helps to have the bobbin loaded correctly. Its nice to understand other parts of the machine also. Lately Jacob likes to talk to Adam in this really soft voice. He tried to get Adam to come into his bedroom but Adam didn't want to go with him. Jacob seemed a little disapointed. I carried Adam into Jacob's bedroom and we showed him the alarm clock buzzing. Both boys loved that buzzing clock. They ran out to show Daddy. After dinner we took the boys to play at a park. It was a nice cool (high 60's) evening. Jacob loved playing in the pool and stream. The water was cold, but he didn't mind. He liked putting leaves or sticks in the pvc pipe which goes under the walkway that is over the stream. Then he'd run to the other side and watch it come out. Daddy also had fun with this. Adam walked in the stream but didnt' stay in it for very long. We played "tag". It was so much fun and had us all laughing. Adam also loved being "tagged". Got home around 8:30.

What another great Saturday. I went shopping at goodwill. Bought some great black pants for church and I took a bag of big cloths to them. Bought something for Adam and I need to get something for Jacob. They can each get a package in the mail if I get on the ball.

We all had a great Saturday. Friends of mine came to visit for the afternoon -- and they were all well. Rosemary has just retired and is really enjoying life, keeping busy with things she has not been able to do as a teacher. (Does this sound like anyone else we all know?)

The boys certainly have a great life. And you make ours greater by sharing the pictures and stories.
