As I poured cheerios into the boy’s bowls this morning Jacob said, “I want mine fresh”. Adam spilled his milk and Jacob told him, "its ok, act-i-dents happen, Mommy all clean it up". After breakfast Adam came over to me saying, “Bob Bebo?” I took him over to the chair that it was hiding behind. He picked it up and climbed onto the chair with it. We listened to some music. Adam carried the bucket of instruments out and Jacob helped him open it. They danced and played with the music. Jacob asked to play with his moon sand. He played with that for a long time at the counter. Adam and I sat and read books on the couch. Soon Jacob was sitting with us and listening also. After we were done reading Jacob went back to playing with his moon sand. Every day Adam (and Jacob too) likes to take things out of the cupboard that they’re allowed to get into. This cupboard holds things like their bowls, lids, cups, storage containers, and potholders. Adam always empties out all the bowls and lids, and some cups. He asked me to open the snack cupboard and then he pulled out the bag of animal crackers. He handed them to me saying, “nack, please”. It was snack time so I put some crackers into their bowls and gave them some juice. Jacob put his hand on his cup and asked, “Mommy, dis make ca-vi-ies (cavities)?” I told him we brush our teeth to try not to get cavities. He said, “oh”, then took a drink and said, “um, I like juice”. Adam got fussy before lunch and just wanted me to hold him. He was much happier after he had eaten. I piled all the clean laundry on the couch and began folding it. Every time I do laundry, I’m amazed at how fast it piles up. Anyway, the boys had fun playing with the laundry and haling it around in their dump trucks or using it as pillows. Adam napped from 2-4pm. Jacob watched his bulldozer video. Then we got out the legos to play with. He made a train to push around. We went outside to collect the eggs. He handed me a warm one and said, “peel this, a hen was laying on dis”. I gave Jacob a haircut. When Adam woke up he also enjoyed playing with the legos. He’d hand me pieces to help him put together. Jared took apart the boys tonka racetrack and tried to fix it. Jacob liked sitting on the counter to watch. He played with the little screws. Adam wanted me to hold him as he watched also. Shortly after dinner we headed to the library for Circle Time. I took Jacob in the class while Daddy and Adam walked around the library. Jacob hurried to find a seat. Today’s theme was mice. Jacob loved all the stories and puppet shows. He was excited to get corn on the cob to take up to the felt board. He didn’t want to join in on the get-up-and-move activities, but smiled as he watched the other kids. When we all said the rhyme Hickory, Dickory, Dock – I could only think of Grandpa R. and Daddy’s version. They passed out mouse paper bag puppets for each of the kids. When the class was over Jacob stood in line to get a mouse stamp on his hand. Then the teacher also stamped his mouse puppet for him. The boys played at the train table for a little while. We had to return the books we had checked out so today. I'm gonna miss reading them book but we'll check them out again. We found some different books to take home this time. Got home around 8:30.

I'm always amazed at how fast the laundry piles up too. I'll get all caught up, and the next day the baskets will be full again.
