Adam likes to touch his head to the floor or something else and then ask for sympathy. I took the following pictures of him doing this.

Jacob with Jack (our once wild cat, now overly friendly cat). He is the son of "Wild Mama", a cat we trapped and took to the humane society.

Playing in the barn.

Adam looking at a book.

He fell into the opened closet door, poor guy.

Making cookie dough.

Hey Jacob, I can't see.

Ah, thats better.

Adam loves to play the piano.

This morning Jacob and I cuddled on the couch as we watched Curious George. After that was over, Jacob got up to turn the TV off and came back to cuddle. Jacob said, “tell (means, say), I love how you share with Adam”. Then he asked if we could wake Adam up. We went outside so I could Armor-All the inside of our car. Tomorrow Jared is taking it to work so a lady can test-drive it. Jacob played with his tractors and dirt. He got very dirty in the short time we were outside. Adam was talking in his crib when we came back inside. He likes to throw things (his blankey’s, dog, and drink) out of his crib when he wakes up. He was reaching for his blankey saying, “bankee”. After I picked him and his blankey's up, he pointed at the wall hanging saying, “dow-dee”. He wanted to pet the dog and cat on the wall hanging. Then he wanted me to read the poem to him. After breakfast and getting ready for the day we watched Bob the Builder. Adam didn’t watch much of it but he liked dancing to the music. The boys then played with their trucks, pushing them all over the house. When Jacob gets hurt Adam likes to copy him and come to me with a fake cry and a smirk on his face. For example, when Jacob hurt his knee and came crying to me for comfort, Adam rubbed his knee and came over to me begging for sympathy. Its really rather amusing to me, so I play along. Jacob liked helping me put the Copper Harbor photos into the picture book. Adam saw the pictures and right away began asking, “Bampa?” He was happy when I handed him the picture of him and Grandpa. He smiled as he stared at it or pointed at Grandpa saying, “Bampa”. When I tried to hand him another picture, he threw it and begged for “Bampa”. He didn’t want to give the picture back to me. After lunch we went outside. The boys helped me wash the Vibe again. They had even more fun this time. Both of them got really wet – it’s a beautiful, warm day. They helped me almost the entire time and really worked hard on scrubbing the front of the car with their sponges. Jacob also liked filling the bucket with water and spraying the car. They played in the sand while I towel dried the car. After I was finished we let the chickens out of their coop and collected their eggs. We filled up their water containers and then went inside. By then it was naptime for Adam. He napped from 2-4. Jacob played with his cars and legos while resting in his bedroom for a little while. Then he came out and played with his trucks. We lay on my bed and read several books. Jacob said, “I’m really excited”. When I asked him what he was excited about he said, “Adam waking up, I wanna play with him”. Then he said, “look, when Adam wakes up, I will teach him something”. Adam was very fussy when he woke up. He just wanted to be held. I read him some books as we cuddled in the chair. I got out the fire truck playhut for them to play in while I vacuumed the living room. When Daddy came home we went outside. I had run out of Armor All this morning so Jared found the new bottle and finished that. Then he reset the trap with eggs that he had found in the barn. Adam grabbed my finger and pulled me towards the swing saying, “wing (swing)”. He loves high pushes on the swing. Jacob took off his shoes and socks so he could climb up the slide better. Adam climbed up to play in the fort. He kept touching his head to things and asking me for sympathy. The boys climbed up to the highest part of the fort and made me things to eat. Jacob handed me some mac-n-cheese, which cost me $32. When I asked him for some lemonade he said, “its at Grandma’s house, I gotta go get it way over there”. He slid down the slide and ran in the direction of our ditch. Adam kept handing me things and liked when I pretending to eat them. I’d ask him something like, “is that applesauce?” and he’d nod his head (move his jaw) yes. We went inside around 6:30 for dinner. I was putting a toy away into Jacob’s closet when Adam fell into the opened door, cutting his nose. After dinner we made cookie dough (without eggs). The boys liked helping us pour in the ingredient and also enjoyed tasting things also. The cookie dough was yummy! The boys played with Daddy while I finished vacuuming the house.

Adam certainly has a good thing going. Just touch his head to the floor and he gets sympathy, huh? Clever kid, to train his mother so quickly.

I just spotted the nose. And another bang is on Adam's forehead. This kid wears his history on his face. I hope he got a big time with mom when the nose accident happened. I think you could be in trouble if you take Adam to the emergency room. Hummm...what are all those marks. I've heard that the Japanese have made an air bag for those who fall. Might look into that. It's not to expensive.

I love my playmates. It's a relief from the stinky skunks.
