The boys loved the ride back to the barn.
Dr Jacob examines Daddy's toe.
Daddy's got to protect his toe from the swinging boys arms. Adam started it, Jacob soon joined him.
Here they go again.
As Jared walked down the hallway to leave for work, he stubbed his toe on the stool that was left in the hallway. It was bad and I think he broke it, ouch! This morning the boys woke up around 8am. After breakfast we headed to a church in town. I (and two other adults) am watching the children during their bible study. It’s just a couple hours a week and the boys get to come along. There are seven kids (including our boys) all of them are three and under. We had fun. Jacob helped us pass out snacks at snack time. There was a six month little girl who was very fussy and had quite the scream on her. Adam got jealous as I tried to comfort her. He was much more comfortable with my holding the other kids after we’d been there for a while. Adam along with another little girl really enjoyed playing ring-around-the-rosie with me. Jacob liked playing with the cook set, pretending to bake pizzas. He passed out pieces for everyone. Then he’d velcro the pieces back together, put them in the pan, and then back in the oven. We left at around 11:30. We stopped at Goodwill and then headed home. Back at home we played outside until naptime. Kate rolled in poop so we had to clean her up first. Jacob drew buildings with windows and people on his chalkboard. We sat on the couch and read books together. Right now his favorite book is “CHOO CHOO” and we read that one many times. Jared helped me fold and put away laundry when he got home from work. I’m thankful for his help, though I do have to laugh when I find Jacob socks in my sock drawer for example. The boys hauled around some laundry in the dump trucks. We had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. After dinner we went outside to play on the sand hill. It was a beautiful evening outside, nice and cool. Jared took the trash down to the dumpster and then mowed a paddock. I played in the sand with the boys. We stayed outside until around 8:30.

I can bring the ax up and take care of that toe for Jared. I'll make sure to put the turnakit around his neck to make sure he doesn't bleed out
Great pictures and JB's mother knows what a broken toe feels like. You have my sympathy even though your big brother is giving his mother and probably not his little brother grief with his comments. How many kids own a huge hill of sand. Some day they will be hiking out to the hill by themselves.
I'll also come up and make the other toe match too.
Poor Jared...I am sympathizing with him. Kimmy, I put a picture of Kenzie's picture she had taken at school today on my blog. Love Mom
Penny you mean you feel sorry for the son in law how moves things around in your yard/kitchen??
If you can't see in the dark like I can TURN ON A LIGHT. Whoops I forgot. Get a match to light the kerosene lantern. No electricity in Hope MI. If you want to know where sympathy is I can tell you where to find it in the dictionary.
I love it when he leaves the computer on.
