This morning Jacob woke up to go potty at 6:30. He lay down for a little bit and then came downstairs. We went outside and he went right to the sandbox. After playing in the sandbox for a while, Grandma had Jacob help her plant some flowers. When Grandpa got home Jacob wanted to show him the flowers. He ran right over to them. Kenzie woke up around 8:30. She and Jacob ate bagels for breakfast. I started packing the van. Jared and his Mom dug up some plants to bring home with us. Adam woke up around 10am. While he was just finishing his breakfast Kat and Andrew arrived. Kat brought over her sprinkler and kids pool. Andrew got right in that cold pool water. Jacob liked jumping in the pool onto his knees. Adam didn’t want to go in the pool and cried when I stuck his feet in. He did enjoy the mist sprinkler though. It was hot outside and the kids sure had fun. It was fun watching them play. Jacob liked pretending Kenzie was a flower. He’d pour water over her head and she slowly stand up. He also watered some of Grandma’s plants. Once the water warmed up in the pool I tried Adam in it again. He cried at first but soon he was playing in it. Kenzie wanted me to come look at her heel but Adam didn’t want me to leave his side. After lunch Jared finished packing up a few things. Adam climbed down the steps and looked in the other room for Grandpa. I told him to call Grandpa and he said, “Gampa”. A little later he said it again. We were on the road by around 12:30. Jacob fell asleep within 5 minutes and slept for 2 hrs. Adam fell asleep around 2:30 and slept until 4pm. We had to make a few bathroom stops on the way home. Got home around 7pm. First we stopped to get the mail. Jacob was excited to get a colored card from Hailey in the mail. I read it to him and he was so happy. The card had a spaceship on it. He held it up and said, “a raceship”. We planted the plants while the kids ran around for a little bit. After the kids were in bed I went outside and pulled the weeds from around the onions.

Wonderful pictures. Just a super weekend from my point of view. Still raining. It's the return of the flood.
what Jared no power driving on the way home??
Wow!!! Look at all these pictures!!!! You have really filled in these last few days!!! I am going to have to spend a long time to absorb all that you have posted -- although I did notice that you only have a picture of Jared with the post BEFORE he had his brilliant idea. Thanks for all.
Hailey was so excited to see the pictures of Jacob with his postcard she sent him. She also liked really hearing about what he said when I read her what you wrote about it. Now she is telling me she wants to leave Jacob a comment so I am going to let her get on here now.

Hi Jacob, I'm glad you liked your mail. I will send you some more mail soon. I love you Jacob. You are my favorite friend. Love, Hailey. (I just wrote some of what Hailey was saying as she wrote her comment to Jacob.)
Great pictures again. Love that one of Andrew standing in the pool. The bright colors are great and I love the hat.
When I read Jacob Hailey's comment he smiled really big. Then he ran to the fridge to get his card so I could read it to him again.
Great pictures! I feel like I've been there with you. So many cute ones of all the boys and Kenzie and the smiling faces. I like the water ones too. Nice to see all the cousins together. Looks like great fun and neat places you visited.
