Sandy boy
She found a spider that big
Jacob growling like Grandpa
The boys had fun playing the the wet sand.
Jacob and Kenzie woke up around 8:30. Jacob asked Kenzie to read him all the books in the Cars book set. We made pancakes for breakfast. Jacob and Kenzie got done eating and then played together with the exercise ball. Adam was so excited to get down and play with them. After awhile he went down to our bedroom looking for Daddy while calling, “Daddy, Daddy”. Kenzie went out to play in the barn and with the chickens. Jacob drove around in his tractor. Shortly before 11am we went outside. While the kids played I weeded the garden. Then Kenzie and Jacob helped me dig tulip bulbs up. We went back inside around noon for lunch. At 2pm Adam lay down and took a nap. Kenzie and Jacob colored and Jacob used his scissors to cut construction paper. Kenzie made cards for everyone, including the dogs. Then she wanted to surprise me and clean up the house. She picked up the toys, put the pillows on the couches, and threw away any garbage. We went outside and got out the kids pool. Kenzie helped me clean it out and we started filling it up. They played in the water as it slowly filled up. Kenzie caught a butterfly and we put it in the butterfly house. Jacob found a caterpillar to put in it. Jared came home around 3:30. Kenzie and Jacob played in the sand and dug a really deep hole to see how far the sand went down. Jared and I planted some hosta’s under the tree where I had dug up the tulip bulbs. Bruce came over around 4:30. Adam woke up shortly after 5pm. We all rode in Bruce’s van to pick up a trailer for hauling our Geo Metro. Bruce’s neighbor, who is a mechanic, is going to take a look at it. Stopped at Mom’s to pick up our car. Kenzie rode with me to pick up a pizza for dinner. I gave Max a haircut. We took the kids outside to play until it was dark.

I wish I would have known that Kenzie was at moms house. Im so sad I didnt get to see her. :o(
Jacob certainly has a tan. Adam's independance on the slide is ama*nd...if you put a little sugar water in the butterfly cage, the butterfly will be happy for a while. You can ball up a wad of paper and set it in the water. The sugar water will wick up into the ball. Hope the mail brings the box of to be butterflies today.
Humm...I'm working at church and got intrupted. Adam's independance on the slide is impressive. And...if you put a little sugar water etc.
Now I'm hoping this makes sense.
Glad you guys came over. That was fun. Thanks for cutting Max's hair too.
I love the pictures of Jacob in the hole they dug in the sand and then the one of him with sand all over him. That's so funny how he's laying there with his head down in the hole digging.
