Two sleepy boys

This morning we all slept in until almost 9am. We left around 10am for drinks and donuts. Walked through Salvation Army, Goodwill, and the pet store. The boys really enjoy walking around the pet store. Adam looked in each fish tank and pointed while saying, “TeeTee (fishy)”. While the boys were petting the cat Jacob said, “dat kitty got a soft head like my kitty, dat kitty look like my kitty, like Tiger”. Got back home around lunchtime. Shortly after 1pm I lay Adam down for a nap. Jacob went outside to watch Daddy work on the Geo. I cleaned up a gate I had found at Goodwill for Mom. Then I went outside and moved the car seats over from the van to the Geo. After that I started packing for our trip to visit my parents, Grandpa, and Kenzie at the campground. Shortly after 4pm we were on our way there. Got there at 5pm. The boys played in the sand. Jacob liked running around in it and Adam liked lying down in it and feeling it with his hands. We took a walk with my parents around the campsite. Came back and had dinner. Dad started a fire. Jared and I took the boys on their first paddleboat ride. They loved it. Jacob really enjoyed when we let him do the steering. When it was Adam's turn he sat between us with a cute smirk on his face. He would smile when he looked up at me. Jacob stood on the dock with Nana and waved at us. Then both boys sat with Nana while Jared and I took a ride on the aqua cycle. By the time we got back to the camper it started raining. Jacob sat in the tent with Kenzie. After it stopped raining we took another walk around the campground. Adam loves looking at the dogs. We passed an Old English sheepdog and Adam didn’t want to take his eyes off of it. As we kept walking Adam was looking around behind the stroller at the dog. We roasted marshmallows over the fire and made smores. An on-fire marshmallow dropped onto Jared’s shirt. It started raining again so we went into the camper and played games. Dad, Grandpa, Jared and Kenzie played “Tonk” while Mom and I played dice. Jacob played with his cars and watched the card game. He came over to help me roll some dice. Adam played with his toys. He walked around with a water bottle in his mouth to get some laughs. We changed the boys in their pjs and got ready to leave. Papa had Adam laughing so hard and running to hide from him. Just as we were leaving Adam leaned against the camper door and took a fall down the steps because the door wasn't latched tight. He fell backwards and then did a summersault and landed on his head. He cried some but soon was back laughing again. He has a large bump on the back of his head. Both boys fell asleep on the drive home. Got home around 12am.
