The butterfly Kenzie caught.
This is what he does when he sees me chewing gum and wants me to blow a bubble.
Waterslide.
Jacob crawled in bed with me this morning. He lay with me for a little while but then wanted to go back and lay with Kenzie. Adam woke up after they were done with their breakfast. I went to go get him and Jacob said, “I wanna come too, Kenzie you wanna come tee Adam?” Then he ran into his bedroom. He loves to make him smile by playing peek-a-boo before I get him out of his crib. We got all our build-a-bear’s out and undressed them. Then Kenzie lined them up and set all their clothes out on the floor. We played with them for a while. Jacob and Kenzie packed them into the double stroller and they pushed them around the house. Then we went outside until lunchtime. After lunch we hooked up the sprinkler to run through. I had finished filling the kids pool this morning and it felt pretty good. It had warmed up in the sun. Kenzie took buckets from the pool and dumped them in her hole in the sand. She loved playing with the wet sand. Jacob didn’t want to touch the wet sand. After watching Kenzie he went over to play on the slide/fort. Kenzie also went over and made a waterslide by dumping water on the slide as she went down. Soon she decided to take a half full 5 gallon bucket up there so she wouldn't have to make so many trips. She loved going down the slide really fast. Jacob also liked going down it with Kenzie. Adam sat in the pool and played. It took him a little while to get used to the water, but once he was he loved it. At 2pm I took Adam inside for his nap. Then we all went back outside. The kids played on the slide and I replanted the corn in our garden. Then we walked up to the sand hill to play. We buried Kenzie up to her neck in sand. She had me believing that she really couldn’t get out of it. Then she saw a spider and popped up like it was nothing. On the way back to the house she picked me some pretty flowers to put in a vase. Kenzie took a bath when she got inside and the tub had a lot of sand in it after she was done. While Jacob was resting he fell asleep. Kenzie and I went back outside and I pulled some weeds from the garden. When Jared came home he mowed the front yard. He found a snake and showed it to Kenzie. It went down in the sandbox hole which has a couple inches of water in it. It was fun to watch it swim and Kenzie liked trying to catch it with her stick. Adam woke up around 5:30. He stood on the couch and watched Daddy on the tractor. He'd call him and wave at him. Then he'd point to the trees and say, "tee". We woke Jacob up around 6pm. After dinner Jared took Kenzie and Jacob outside to go for a ride in the tractor dump cart. Jacob wanted to ride on Daddy’s lap instead. Once I got Adam cleaned up we went outside. He walked over to look at the chicken and then we walked to find Daddy. He was calling him and got really excited when he saw them on the tractor. He wanted to sit in Daddy’s lap and drive. We went to meijer for a few groceries. Jacob put the penny in for Adam to ride the pony. When we got home I gave the boys their bath. Jared was folding laundry when we came out. The boys had fun running around with laundry as I put it away. Adam was so excited and was talking really loudly. Adam and Jacob climbed on the double stroller and we pretended it was a train as I pushed them around the house. Jacob would yell out, “all aboard, choo choo”. Adam would say, “choo choo”. Jacob turned around to see Adam and Adam leaned over to give Jacob a kiss. Every time Jacob would turn around Adam would want a kiss. After the boys were in bed Kenzie and I went outside. She wanted to show me how tame her chickens were.

I never realized that you had such a big sand pile. When I first saw the pictures, I thought you guys had gone to a beach. I sure loved our big sand hill when we were kids. We always had so much fun playing in it.
