I had a hard time getting to sleep last night and didn’t fall asleep until around 3am. The alarm went off at 5am and we were on the road by 5:30. We dropped Jared off at work on our way to Mom’s house. Jared will be coming back on Wed pm. We got to Mom’s at around 6:15. Took the sleepy boys upstairs to Kenzie’s bedroom. There is a playpen and a large bed up there. Jacob wanted to go in the playpen so I brought Adam in the bed with me. Adam fell asleep quickly. Jacob rested. We got up around 8:30. The boys ate breakfast and Mom and I had coffee and muffins. Jacob was excited to see the new matchbox cars my Mom had found at a garage sale. He’d hand me the vehicle and says, “read dis”. He likes to know the name of each vehicle. Adam had fun pushing some big cars around the room. Mom left for a dentist appointment. Vikki met us at ToysRUs and we walked around with the boys. By the time we left there it was lunchtime. Stopped at Subway before heading over to Vikki’s house. Jacob loved playing with all the new little cars, tractors, and trucks Vikki had bought for the kids to play with at her house. She let him pick one to bring home and he chose a tractor with a scoop. He had a hard time choosing between that and the dump truck. Tonight he prayed for a yellow dump truck like at “Bippi’s” house. Adam loved playing with Vikki’s little exercise ball. He’d walk over it, sit on it, bounce on it, or throw it. Watched some episodes of John & Kate + 8. We left shortly after 3pm and Vikki left at the same time for work. Almost as soon as we were on the road both boys fell asleep. It was very warm (upper eighty’s) and sunny outside today. I stopped at Mom’s house on my way home. I left the boys in the air cond. car while I went in quick to say hi to Kenzie and Mom. Got a coffee for the trip home. Had to get chicken food at TSC and also stopped at Salvation Army before going home. When we pulled in the driveway Jacob asked, “Is Daddy here?” After dinner the boys and I went out on the deck. Adam kept bringing over a small stick with leaves and wanted me to smell them. He likes when I pretend to sneeze. He started making a little sneeze sound too after I’d sneeze. We went back inside around 8pm. Got to talk to Jared on the phone. Adam was asleep by 8:30. Jacob and I went ouside to check on the animals. Shortly after Jacob was in bed he came running down the hall and in a whiney voice said, “Dears a bee in me bedroom” and he made a buzzing sound. I turned the light on and found a mosquito flying by his pillow. Truman climbed up in Jacob’s bed.
