This is Jacob "skipping". I think he looks so cute when he does this around the house.

Goodness...you do have snow. We had rain today and around 60 they said. Sounds a little high. It's just one big pea soup of a day. Fog, rain, fog, rain. Nothing pretty about anything at this point. Oh, yes, I noticed how green the grass is. Your tree is so pretty. Bring your video camera. We should have some good shots Christmas morning. I'm getting so excited.
Great takes of the "skipping." That, to use our old-fashioned technical terms, is "galloping." He is keeping the same foot in front of the other. Skipping is a significant development and involves switching from one foot to the other. This all is related to the child's developing ability to "cross the midline" -- to be able to organize his body into a co-ordinated whole, not being limited to two halves.
So, from our postings yesterday, we can conclude that you boy is definitely developing -- and I can be assured that you have substituted a much older boy for precious Jacob.
Aren't videos wonderful? I am certainly grateful that I could SEE him gallop! I will definitely look forward to seeing him skip!!
