Jacob woke up during the night and asked me to turn on his car light. He came down to our bedroom saying he was awake around 8am. We got ready and headed over to my parents house. Stopped and picked up donuts and muffins on the way there. Mom is feeling better today. Jared, Dad, and Grandpa worked on splitting logs today. Grandpa helped by pulling the lever and supervising. Jared and Dad were sweating doing all the lifting. Dad had me go to TSC and exchange a saw chain for a larger size. He also wanted me to pick up a spark plug and a new filter for his chain saw. TSC didn't sell the spark plug or filter. I checked several different places and only ended up being able to find the spark plug at Lowe's. Couldn't find the filter anywhere but Sears would order it with the model number off the chain saw which I didn't have. Traffic was busy and the stores were busy. I couldn't even park in Sears parking lot it was so packed. By the time I got back it was time for lunch. Around 2pm we lay the boys down for their naps. Then we took Grandpa home on our way to Patty's house to help her trim her pig and goat's hooves.
I didn't have her number to call her first and let her know we were coming over but we had talked last weekend and planned to do them today. When we got there she wasn't home - we waited for awhile and then decided to head back. We left a note and headed back to Mom's. We thought we saw her pass us so we turned around and drove back to her house. She still wasn't home - so back to Mom's again. Mel and her family were at Mom's when we got back. The boys were still sleeping. We watched the video of Jacob's 2yr birthday party. Its amazing to see how much he has changed in just 6 months. Jared went outside to cut up some logs - when Bruce got there he also helped. After the boys woke up the kids had lots of fun playing together and we had a nice visit. Mom and Dad left to got to my uncle's 50th birthday party. We notice they had forgotten to take the gift so we called to let them know. It wasn't wrapped yet so Mel and I wrapped it and had it ready when they got back. I got a sewing machine from a guy from my parents church. He used to be a singer repair man and had ~50 sewing machines to give away. I had fun playing around with it when we got home. Jared showed me how to thread it. He remember doing it when he was younger - he said lots of time was spent watching his mom sew when he was young. Good thing cause I wouldn't have had a clue. Gave the boys their baths and tucked them in bed. Jacob wanted me to take a picture of his cars light. After I did and showed him he said, "tanks Mama".

Cute pictures. I still have some to put on my blog too. I'm getting a little behind again, but I will eventually catch up though.
