This morning Jacob came over to me and said, "I got idea, come me Mama". He took me to Adam's closet and pointed at the racetrack saying, "I play racetrack, cars go round, I play Mama". Jacob took the toys out of his toybox and put them all arond Adam. Then he pretended the toybox was his tractor. Got some shopping done today. While Jacob was napping I wrapped almost all of our presents. Adam didn't take much of a nap today. He played next to me while I wrapped. I gave him a basket full of toys. He had fun pulling every toy out of the basket. Jacob woke up from him nap wet and very cranky. He needed to bed held for awhile. Made round steak and gravy in the crockpot, mashed potatoes and corn for dinner. Took Adam a long time to figure out the roll - but now he rolls and scoots all over the house. Lately Jacob loves for me to sit down and hold him. He's pulls up the leg rest to the chair and says, "Mama tit down, Mama hold me". Even when I'm feeding Adam he crawls up with us. We got out some books before bed and read them as we cuddled in the chair. A couple times he had to get down saying, "I be right back, go talk Daddy". Then as he was running down the hall he'd turn around, point his finger and say, "I hurry". He came back and said, "I talk Daddy, say I read Mama lap". Before going to bed we pulled his warm, clean blanket out of the dryer. He was so excited and kept smelling it. He ran to show Daddy and told him goodnight.
