Christmas Day

Got up at 3:30 and nursed Adam before our road trip. We had packed everything the night before so all we had to do was take care of the animals and we were ready to get in the car and go. Jacob woke up and stayed awake for most of the trip asking to stop a couple times to go potty - he slept for maybe 1 1/2 hrs. Adam slept for most of the trip - he was awake and happy for the last hour of our drive. On the trip Jacob kept saying, "I tee Grandma's house" and pointing out the window. He ran to say hi to Grandma and Grandpa when we got there. We were excited to see that Grandma had ordered cinnamon rolls from the Hilltop restaurant and pasties from the UP. Jared and I shared a roll and Grandma gave Jacob his stocking to open. He got a sippy cup, Thomas train with a crane, lego Lightning Macquine, toothbrush with his name on it, and tick tacks. Adam got to open his stocking too and got some nice things also. After lunch I layed the boys down for an early nap. They both fell asleep very quickly. We talked with Jared's parents for awhile and then Jared and I took a nap. Adam woke up around 3:30 and Jacob woke up around 5pm. Eric, Kat and Andrew arrived around 4:30. Andrew got to open his stocking and then we all started opening gifts one at a time. Grandma had some Cars vehicles in a gift bag and Jacob was excited when he heard them go off. All three boys got a Ragidy Andy's made by Grandma. We all got some really nice gifts and had much fun. Pasties for dinner were excellant! Jacob and Andrew had fun watching their Daddy's play with the shake and go tow truck. I lay Adam down for bed at 9pm and he fell asleep right away. Jacob stayed up and played with his new toys. After he was in bed Jared and I got out the game of Life that we had gotten for Christmas and played a game. I had never played it before - it was alot of fun.

Very cute picture of grandma and all the boys. That's a cute shirt Andrew is wearing. Sounds like you all had a nice time. We'll have to come over and play a game of Life with you guys sometime. I love that game.

Yeah, we'll come over and play games and watch movies on that big TV. That sounds like a great idea. :)

That does sound like a great idea. The game is lots of fun - I had never played it before. I also got the game Jenga - I remember us three playing that one.
