Adam was awake from 3:30 until 5am last night. Today I felt a tooth on top that has cut through. He was his happy self this morning. We had a couple inches of snow last night and it was cold outside. Looked very pretty. Got the boys ready and we left around 10:30 to head over to Mom's house. My mom, who rarely ever gets sick, is not feeling well. She thinks it may be something she ate at dinner last night. My aunt (her sister) is having a risky surgery done today - so that didn't help make her feel any better. She still wanted to watch Jacob while we took Adam to his Dr appt. Adam had an appointment today with a urologist due to a couple issues. The doctor seemed very excited to see a baby. As soon as he walked in the room he threw up his arms and said, "A BABY" and then tickled him - Adam barely let out a smile. The appointment went very well and I was relieved to find out that Adam most likely will not need any surgery, although the doctor wants to check him again in July of next year. The other issue, a healing problem after his circumcision, the doctor took care of today. The doctor looked at me and said, "Mom, your gonna hate me, but we don't want him to have to go through surgery if he doesn't have to". Adam was a very brave little boy - he cried but stopped as soon as it was over. On the way home we stopped at Grandpa's for a visit and to take him his mail and paper. We had a really nice visit. Grandpa said, "Kimmy, ya know your really lucky to get two really good babies, alot of them are criers". It was about two years ago when Grandpa held Jacob and said, "whats he weight - about 35 pounds". Today we saw shoplifters get busted by undercover cops for stealing a whole car full of clothes from Old Navy. They were pulling a whole bunch of clothes out of their car all with the hangers still on them. Back at Mom's Jared went outside with Dad and helped him split logs with a log splitter. Vikki and Kenzie came over and gave Jacob a Cars lamp. Jacob was really excited about it and jumped around excitedly. Vikki ran to the store and got some chicken noodle soup and crackers for Mom - she also brought me back a capiccino. Kenzie helped me make the soup and set up a tray with soup, crackers and pop. Dad took us out to eat at Culvers and we had a really nice visit. Back at home we watched Frosty the Snowman before it was time to get ready for bed.

Ah! Now I see it is a Cars lamp!! I could not figure out what Jacob was looking at, until I read that he got a Cars lamp -- and suddenly I could SEE it!! He is certainly a lucky, Cars-crazy boy!
Thanks for going to the store to get the chicken noodle soup and crackers Vikki. Thank you, Kimmy and Kenzie for fixing it and serving it to me on a nice tray. It really did help me feel better and I was sure blessed with all the love and care you gave me. Hugs and Kisses to you all!!!
