Adam woke up around 5am. I nursed him and then changed a messy diaper. I love how he cuddles his head on my shoulder as I walk him back to his bedroom. I lay him in his crib and he smiles as I cover him up. I love listening to him as he chats away for a little bit before falling asleep. Jacob slept until ~8:45am and we quickly got him fed and ready for church. Adam woke up just before him with another really messy diaper. At church Jacob still always sits in a yellow chair back in his class but the last couple weeks he has choose to sit in the second row instead of the front. He picks out his chair and then smiles at me as I leave. After church we stopped at meijer for a few groceries and got pizza for lunch. At home I changed into my new Christmas pjs and Jacob looked at me and said, "ewe look cute Mama". This afternoon I restocked the freezer with Adam's baby food. Jacob sat at the counter for a bit and munched on an apple. He loves to climb up on the stools at the counter, sit up there and play with his cars or tractors. While the boys were napping Jared went outside and plowed the driveway. My parents and Grandpa stopped by to pick up my Mom's cell phone on their way back from up north. This evening Jacob asked to play the jenga game. He really likes that game. Jared and I played and Jacob helped. Jacob made a road with all the pieces. On the side of all the piece it says the word jenga - Jacob pointed at it and said, "it says me name". Then he pointed at it again and said, "it says me belly hurt, Mama hold me".

I was woken up at 2:30am to Jacob crawling over me and laying down between Jared and I. It was cute. I took him back to his bedroom and covered him up. A few minutes later he came walking to our bedroom with his pillow in one hand and blanket in the other. I took him back to his bedroom again and tucked him in. He fell asleep and slept until around 9am. We did our usual Sat am routine and then came home to get ready for the ~3hr trip to my cousins wedding. The wedding started at 3:30 - it was a beautiful wedding. After the wedding Jacob was excited to run around with his cousins. He'd run and fall to his knees as soon as he came to the hard floor. He was excited that he was going to get to dance and kept saying, "I dance Mama, I dance?". The reception was lots of fun and the food was really good. It was fun watching the kids dance. Kenzie was excited to catch the bouquet. We left around 9:30 and made it home around 12:30am. Adam fell asleep right away, Jacob fell asleep after about an hour.

Both boys slept all night - Adam waking up to eat at 6am and then sleeping until 9am and Jacob slept until 8:30. We had a fun day playing with all the new toys. Adam was very clingy most of the morning.

Jared came home from work a little early. When he got home he noticed Sammy had fallen in the snow and couldn't get up. He went to help him up and then he took all his new tools and things out to his workshop. When both boys were asleep I went out to his workshop to check out his new things. He was having fun with his brad nailer and let me try it. Then he set up his peg board and hung up some tools. Looks nice in there. When it was time for dinner Jacob looked at me and said, "no me eat dinner, I eat peanut jelly, it make me belly hurt". Jacob drove his tractor around and was pretending his hamper was a gravity wagon full of corn. After the boys were in bed Jared and I played jenga. Jacob called me saying he had to go potty so I took him. He saw us playing and wanted to watch. I let him stay out for several games. He was so excited and jumped so hard it knocked it over. I had him jump on the sheep rug which was a few feet away from the stool we were playing on. He was jumping around so excitedly and had us all laughing. I'd push a piece out and let Jacob pull it out the rest of the way. He told Daddy, "I be careful Daddy".

Jacob woke up a few times during the night and asked to be covered up. Adam woke up once during the night and then again at 6am. We got the boys up and fed them breakfast and then finished packing. Grandma and Grandpa read books to Jacob. One the drive home we stopped at Dave's parents house for a visit. Jacob had fun playing with uncle Dave and Dave's nieces. Dave's sister took Jacob to the kitchen and gave him a couple cookies and some oj. Dave payed Jacob a dollar to jump on Daddy which Jacob was happy to do. It was a nice visit and good for all of us to get out and stretch. We left at 10:30 for home. Stopped at McDonalds for lunch. Decided to stopped at Mom's house and pick up the tv that Vikki and Rody gave us. Waited until Dad came home from work. Jared helped Dad move furniture around to get things ready for their new stuff coming tomorrow am. Vikki and Kenzie came over to bring the remote to the tv and they came with us to take the tv to our house. Both boys fell asleep on the drive home. It was very cold in our house (52 degrees). Jared got the corn burner going and then they brought in the tv. It is much larger than our other tv. The other tv was my Grandparents tv from back when we were young. It didn't have the right hookups for our dvd player. Jacob fell asleep on the couch and slept for a couple hours. He was excited to see Cars playing on his the new tv. He shook his head and pointed at the old tv and saying, "No little tv, big tv" and smiled at the new tv. While they watched Cars I worked on unpacking. The boys had fun playing with their new toys. Jacob ran to his bedroom and came out with his Cars sleeping bag which he wanted to play on. He wanted to be zipped up in it at bedtime. Adam was so tired tonight - he cried until I lay him in his crib where he fell right to sleep. Thank-you Vikki and Rody for the new tv!!!!!!!

Adam did not sleep very well last night. He woke up several times from about 1-4am. After that he slept until around 8:30am. Jacob called for me around 3:30am and Jared went up to see what he needed as I was taking care of Adam. Jared said he didn't understand what he wanted so he got him out and asked him to show him what he wanted. Jacob walked to the other room saying, "come Daddy". He grabbed a pillow and walked back to his playpen. Grandma said she got up for him once as he wanted her to cover him up. After we were ready this morning we left to exchange the coffee machine we had gotten for Jared's parents as it was missing some parts. We also took back her toaster which had stopped working. I asked Jacob if he wanted to go to which he said, "Mama go bye bye, me tay here". He stayed with Grandma and Grandpa and was playing with playdoh when we got back. After lunch we took a walk over to the playground. Its a beautiful day here today. Adam loved the swing and Jacob loved climbing on the playground and looking through the telescope. We saw a squirrel and Jared and Jacob were able to get really close to it. Then they chased it over to a tree - Jacob was laughing hard. Daddy showed Jacob how to draw in the pea gravel with sticks. Then Jacob said he was fishing with his stick. Now both boys are laying down for their naps. Well Jacob never did go to sleep and Adam was woke up by the phone. Grandma got Jacob up and he was so excited. Grandma gave him a cookie for his snack. He went with Grandma to the neighbors to help feed the fish. Grandma made turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn for dinner and we also had some yummy apple pie. Later this evening Jacob went downstairs to watch tv on Grandpa's lap. He sat down there for about an hour until his bedtime. We brought him up and Jared and I read to him on the couch. He was very tired and I rocked him in the chair before laying him in bed. Jared and I played another game of Life - I won again.
