This morning we were up before the kids. Jacob and Adam both woke up around 8:30. They ate their breakfast and then we headed to Tim Horton's and Dunken Donuts. On the way we always stop to get some money. Jared, since even before we had kids, has always pretended to be a lady inside the machine talking to us when we get money out. Its really funny and always makes me laugh. As we start to drive away Jared, in a fading ladies voice, say goodbye. Jacob and I yelled "goodbye" as we drove off. We got my coffee from Tim's and then Jared ran into Dunken Donuts for donuts, muffin, choc milk and pop. Jacob said, "Daddy needs help, go get door por Daddy". We stopped at Salvation army and Goodwill on the way home. At goodwill I found a few shirts for the kids, a gate, and we got Jacob a hotwheels firestation with was only .99 cents. I found Kenzie's safety patrol hat which she had left in our car. Jacob wanted to wear it so I handed it back to him. He said, "look mommy, I turned it sideways". I told Jared to look in the mirror at him and told Jacob to say "whats up dog". Jacob looked quick out the front window and said, "dog, watch out". I ran into Target and got Jacob a couple hot wheels cars to suprise him with when we got home. He loves to wrap me presents in his blanket, so when we got home I wrapped them in his blanket and told him we had a present for him. He was so excited when he saw the cars and jumped up and down saying "I'm toe excited" as Daddy got them out for him. Adam had fallen asleep in the car and continued to sleep for about 30 min after we got home. Daddy and Jacob played with the firestation and I went outside to wash the gate. It was very cold outside (10 degrees). Jared had let Sammy loose in the barn to munch on hay and he came walking over to me as soon as he saw me. He's such a great horse and I gave him so good scratches on his neck which he loves. Inside I tried out the gate and it works great. Its the kind you can latch using just one hand and it was only $3. We latched it up high and put Jacob's Charlie Brown blanket over it. Jared made a nice tent using the doors and another blanket for the back. Jacob had fun playing in there. Adam giggled whenever Jacob or Daddy would peek their heads out under the blanket. Around 2:30 they boys layed down for their naps (Jacob just rested). This evening I got bundled up to go out in the cold and take care of the animals. Jacob wanted to come out with me but only if he could bring his two new cars with him. He put one in each pocket and we got him bundled up in warm winter stuff. He loves seeing his "pootprints" in the snow. He really liked went I made shapes in the snow with my tracks. He'd say "make triangle(circle or square)". When we were walking back to go inside he stopped and made a circle and said, "I made circle". Tonight we put in a I Love Lucy DVD. Jacob cuddled with Daddy in the chair and I rocked Adam.
