This morning Adam woke up at 5:30 and then slept until 9am. Jacob slept in until 10am. He watched Sesame Street while he ate his cheerios. Adam crawled several feet to get to the VCR. Then I got the boys dressed for outdoors and we took a walk down our road. Jacob talked during our walk about rocks, the cold water in the ditch, butterflies he had seen on our last walk, and the red gate we always walk to. He made sure I walked on the side of the road and kept a lookout for cars. When we got back he wanted to dig in his sand with the shovel. I took Adam and pushed him on the swing. Jacob came over and went down the slide many times. He went to climb back up and then bent over looking at me through the stairs and said, "uh oh, I tuck, I need help". I pretended to help him and he went up one more step and then said, "uh oh I tuck again". One more time before he made it to the top - he thought this was pretty funny. Adam enjoyed swinging. By the time we went back inside it was lunchtime. I made Jacob a pb&j sandwich. After he had ate about half his sandwich he came over and said he had to go potty. I walked him to the bathroom and when we came back the rest of his sandwich was gone. He pointed at the table and said, "No no, bad dogs, no eat me tandwich". While Adam took a nap Jacob helped me make angel food cupcakes. When he saw the cake box he sang the Happy Birthday song. He loved licking the beater. I talked to my Mom and she told me both of my Aunt Linda's lungs had collapsed and she was in critical care. Please keep her in your prayers. Jacob was riding around on his tricycle when he got off to come give me a hug. He said, "hi Mama, I missed you", then walked back to his trike saying, "bye Mama, I got to go get candy cane Mama". Adam woke up from his nap just before Daddy got home from work. Jacob and Daddy went outside to feed the animals. When they got back inside I had Adam show Daddy his crawl. Jacob loves playing with the laundry basket. He especially likes to use it as a drum. He always wants Jared and I to stand up and dance to his drumming. Tonight he was singing a song he made up as he drummed. His song basically was our names and the dogs names over and over with some humming. Jacob also likes Daddy to swing him around in the laundry basket. Adam also enjoyed sitting it it. Jacob didn't get his nap today and you could tell it by about 7:30. I gave the boys a bath and they were in bed around 9:15pm.

I laughed when I read what Jacob said about the dogs eating his sandwich. That's too funny.

I remember well the times JB would sit in a little waste basket just like Adam. It would seem that not much changes. Well, what does change is the size of the kid.
Bibs are coming soon.

When I looked at the cute picture of Adam in the clothes basket, it reminded me of Jacob and how he loved sitting in it here. Cute how Jacob chewed the dogs out for eating his sandwich. Lesson learned huh?

I think there is a missed video moment here: Jared and Kimmy dancing to Jacob's drumming. Come on! Don't be shy!

The low 40's and a T shirt! Georgians are in heavy coats in the low 40's. Michiganders are tough when it comes to cold. Jared wrote me about you all hunkering down for the cold weather that's coming up -- we are starting to get outside to look at the spring flowers coming up!
