This morning while Jared was getting ready for work I got Kenzie up and ready. Adam didn't wake up until 6:30. He waved out the window as Daddy and Kenzie left. I nursed him and he fell back to sleep until almost 10am. Jacob woke up around 8:30 and came to lay in bed with me. He likes to cuddle under the blankets with the heated matress pad turned on. After laying there for a little bit he looked at me and said, "I wanna watch Curious George". Curious George was over so we turned on Clifford. Several times a day lately I hear from Jacob "Mama, me belly hurts, hold me Mama". I thinks its a way for him to get some extra attention. Today he came over and said, "Me belly hurts Mama, we need pray, it makes me peel ALL better" as he folded his hands and we prayed together. It was a great day. Very, very cold and windy outside. Jacob played alot with his cars and haled dirt around with his tractor. He also played with his blocks and rode on his tricycle. He pretended his tricycle was a car with doors. He'd say to me "I go bye bye, tee you later, I miss you - tay have pun Nana's house" and he would walk over to get on his tricycle just stopping for a quick wave. Adam did a lot of practicing his crawl position. He sure is good at getting himself stuck under or behind chairs. He loves his new piggy bank, especially chewing on the coins and bouncing to the music. I love how excited he gets when I say pat-a-cake and he claps his hands. Jared was home from work before the boys were awake from their naps. Soon they woke up and we sat on the couch for some cuddle time. Then we headed to meijer for some groceries. We used the self check-out and Jacob helped me empty the cart by handing me things to scan. A worker offered him a sucker for being such a good helper. He took a purple one and said thank-you. Went to Tim Horton's for a cappuccino and then headed home for dinner. This evening I was sitting in the chair holding Jacob and he had his keys in his hand. He showed me them and said, "Look Mama, Copper Harbor(minus the p and b sounds)". On his key chain is a picture of the Fort in Copper Harbor - I told him this several months ago when I put the toy keys on the key chain and we talk about Copper Harbor when we look at pictures of our camping trip but I was surprised when he told me that. He amazes me all the time. Jacob layed with Daddy on the couch and Adam cuddled with mein the chair as we watched I Love Lucy.

Cute picture of Adam stuck again.
He sure moves around alot now. So sweet that Jacob wanted to pray for his sore belly. Those are precious memories you are all making as a family. Love to all!
Go, Adam, go! Move, Adam, move!!
Go, Kimmy, go! Catch him if you can!
It's great to think of Copper Harbor in the middle of the winter. It's such a brain pillow. Lake breezes, pasties, walks into town, tent smells, tent sounds and a walk through the fort. Now there is not much better than CP. Kimmy...I found French Vanilla coffee pods for the coffee maker. It's really good. Truman needs to learn how to get Adam out of his jams. I bet he could do this. He's one smart dog.
Cute pictures of Adam stuck and Jacob saying his belly hurts. I love their expressions. They look so serious. Melissa
