Tuesday:

Yesterday morning it was very cold outside. I took Kenzie to school - this week is her last til summer break. Then I went to moms house. We are both going to get oil change/tire rotations on our cars this morning. When we got there, Nana took Jacob and let me know right away that he had a messy diaper. I changed him on the seat in the car. He is so long now he doesn't fit there well anymore. The mess was through his clothes so we had to change them too. The weather this morning reminded me of Copper Harbor weather. Adam slept until we got back to Nana's. When I got him out of the car seat I realized that he had also messed through his outfit. Jacob was crabby so I lay him down for a nap at Nana's - he fell asleep quickly. Jared met me there around 11am and we headed over to the hospital. I woke Jacob up before we had to leave and he was in a much better mood. This morning we are taking Adam for his circumcision appt. When we got there admission sent us to surgery and there we were sent elsewhere. Then we were taken to another floor. Usually the circumcisions are done at a day old, but due to swelling the doctor recommended we wait. The staff told us our doctor is doing this alot lately and they needed to get a system down - they were very apologetic for the delays. Jared had a meeting at work and didn't realize it was going to take so long. My mom came there so he could take her car and she waited with me. After they brought him back the doctor came in to talk to us. She said everything went well and couldn't believe how much he had changed in 2 1/2 wks. She told us that he had a temper. Jacob and I went down the hall to get drinks and snacks. Jacob started out running down the hall and I asked him to walk. Then he kept saying, "I walk" very proud of himself for walking. Jacob was very well behaved the whole time we were there. He must have thought the nurse looked like Grandma cause he kept saying, "Grama". The nurses did two half an hour check and then we were set to go. We picked Kenzie up from school on our way home. Adam was quite fussey the rest of the evening. At night he did sleep for 4 hours, woke up for 2 hours, and then slept til 7:30 am.
