We slept in til 9am this morning. Thats when Jacob started talking. I went in to get him and he was laying down but sat up quickly. I brought him in our bedroom. He was happy to come lay with us for a bit. Jacob had his breakfast then we went out for donuts and muffins. Daddy got Jacob a donut hole and he loved it. Then we went over to Jeanne and Leonard's house to visit. Noticed that they had gotten a nice new truck and they were hooking it up to the horse trailer. They said they were going to the horse aution today. We thought it would be fun to go too. We stayed for a little bit and talked. Jacob pointed at the cat, dogs, and pigs. Then he wanted to go over and see the tractor. They have a big John Deer tractor and I set him up on the tire. We went over to Nana's but neither Nana or Papa was home. Dad was doing a funeral for a lady that lived down the street from them and went to their church. She had liver cancer and they gave her 6 weeks to live over 3 years ago. Jacob had some lunch and then took a 3 hour nap. Jared went through the house and moved things around. He took her collectible angels on the wall and replaced them with pop cans and placed the angels all through the house. Then he wrapped her silverwear in tin foil and hid her other set of silverware. He wanted more tin foil to wrap everything in her fridge. I'm not sure what else he did but he was glad we'd be gone when she got home. I went upstairs to check on Jacob and he was standing up. Papa got home just as we were leaving. It took about a hour and a half to get to the horse auction. I fell asleep on the way. Jacob held both our hands as we walked to the barn. Daddy held him while we walked around to look at the horses. We saw Jeanne and Leonard and went to sit by them. Jacob sat on my lap for a while then I put the harness on him so he could walk around. He was a very good boy. He like playing with the horse brushes and even tried to brush his own hair with them. He would take them and set them on the ground and then put them back up on the bench. Jeanne asked him if she could have one of his fishies. He pretended he was going to give her one then quickly put it in Leonard's hand. Beth gave him a drink of her coke and he liked that. Jacob would tickel Uncle Len and then gave him a kiss. Kevin came over to sit by us and Jacob liked that. He likes Kevin alot and has since he was a baby. He would tickel him, play with the snap on his shorts, and even grabbed his ear. He tried to take off his hat but couldn't. Jacob shared a couple fishies with him. We had a really fun time. Larry bought a horse and they loaded on their trailer. Jacob fell asleep quickly on the drive home. We stopped at McDonalds for a bite to eat. Jacob woke up when we got home. Leonard had given him a bag of toys so we got them out for him to play with. His favorite toy right now is the pop bottles. He loves to walk around the house with one in each hand. I took him in the bathroom to brush his teeth and he found out its fun and makes Mommy laugh when he walks around with it in his mouth hands free. I probable shouldn't have laughed but he looked so cute. Then when he was done he was making funny faces at his reflection in the knobs on the doors under the sink. He would look at himself on that tiny little knob and start talking and pointing.
