Last night Jacob had a rough time getting to sleep. Usually he falls asleep with no problems but last night he was up til 12am crying off and on. The cause could be his sore, swollen gums. His molar teeth are coming in on top. He woke up in a good, cuddely mood though. The chair we used at the picnic table camping works great at our kitchen table. Jacob likes sitting right at the table with us. We don't have our cell phones anymore so it was strange not being able to chat with Jared this morning and let him know we had gotten to Mel's safely. Melissa and I talked about our camping vacations and then I left for work. As I backed out the drive I saw Jacob putting his hand up to Aunt Missy mouth to blow kisses. Jared was mowing the lawn when we got home today. The grass is really long after our trip. We took Jacob over to the chicken coop so he could go in with the chickens. He picked up an apple and ran over to a few chickens. Daddy caught on so he could pet it - he smiled as he pet Betty. Then Jared finished picking up the grass in the back yard while Jacob and I went over to play on the slide. He kept looking over at Jared on the lawn tractor and holding his hands out begging to go for a ride. He was very happy when Daddy came over to pick him up for a ride. He sits there all serious like he's doing a job and helping Daddy work. He gets this cute little smirk on his face. After he got off the tractor he wanted to go over and pet Celeste. I pushed Jacob around in his little truck. Then he got out and pushed it around himself stopping to pick up a couple rocks and put them in. We watched the rest of the video from our trip tonight. When the video got to the part when we got home and Jared was getting Jacob out of his carseat he held his hands out and started to cry.
