Jacob had a smelly diaper by the time we got to Nana's this morning. Mom sent me with chicken noodle casserole for lunch and it was great. She said Jacob liked it too. She took him shopping today with Grandma. Said he was great except he really wanted Grandma's bananas. When I got to Mom's Jacob was asleep. He had been asleep for a couple of hours so I went up to get him ready to leave. He was happy to see me and hugged me for a really long time. Then he started talking to me - I think he was telling me all about his day. He backed down all the steps and walked into the room where Papa was. He wanted to play with the push lawn mower. At home Jared was push mowing our big yard because the rider deck is broken. He said it didn't feel like he was getting anywhere but to me it looked like he had gotten alot done. We picked some veggies from the garden, cucumbers, tomatoes, and an onion. Jacob pointed to the chickens and said, "chiken". I gave Jacob a bite of a tomatoe from the garden and he didn't like it. After dinner we went to Meijer for some groceries and to walk around. We found a nice rug to put in our kitchen that was 80% off the original price. Saw a guy from Jared's work and Jacob just staired at him with this funny, pucker his lips to the side, smirk on his face. He finally gave him a big smile. At home we lay down the new rug and gave Truman the roll it was on. He bumped Jacob a couple times with it and then knocked him over into the chair. Jacob likes to get out every pair of shoes, his and our, and walk around the house with them. He will bring them over to me and stick out a foot like he wants it on.
