It got very cold during the night and sprinkled some this morning. Jacob woke up and held his hands out to me. I let him out of his playpen and he ran all around the tent talking away. Walked down to the bathroom and Grandma came with us to see Jacob brush his teeth. He held our hands and walked the whole way back to camp. He loves to look at all the trucks on the walk back. We walked over to pebble beach and sat on the bench to watch the waves on Lake Superior. It was cold by the water, the waves were beautiful. By the time Jacob woke up from his morning nap it had warmed up. Today we are going to Hunter's point. On the way we stopped at Dennis's place and saw a couple bowls and glasses we liked. When we got to Hunter's point we decided we try and take the stroller. We soon found out that this path was not meant for anything on wheels. Too many roots and rocks. After we were almost halfway there we decided to turn back cause we were carrying the stroller much of the way. We decided it was easier to carry just Jacob than him, the stroller and all the stuff in the basket. We wanted to have fun and enjoy the hike so we turned back to start over. We brought a bag with only the necessities. Of course the cameras, a change of clothes for Jacob, a snack and drink. Jacob started out walking the trails himself then Jared or I carried him. It was so much fun. When we got the the beach the waves were huge. Jacob and I were sitting at the edge and a wave got us a little wet. We walked up further along the beach and took some pictures. We found a nice spot back a ways so the waves wouldn't get us this time. We were playing in the stones and Jacob was eating his snack. All of the sudden a huge wave came up over Jacob and got us all wet. Jared was laughing histerically. I picked up Jacob who was crying. We changed his clothes but the other set of clothes was a little damp cause the water covered the bag too. Luckely the things in the bag didn't get too wet. Jared said I had left the video camera running in the bag when the wave hit us. It was time to hike back in our wet shoes and clothes. I carried Jacob all the way back cause we didn't have an extra set of shoes in the bag. Even though we were wet the hike back was just as much fun as the hike there. We stopped and got a couple bowls from Dennis. After ice cream tonight Jared built a fire. Everyone came over to sit around the fire. After Jacob was asleep in bed we made smores.
