It got really windy during the night. Jared went out to get the chairs in case it rained. Jacob slept in the morning til 8:30am. After he woke up he was chating and then smushed his face against the screen on his playpen making silly faces. I picked him up and lay him in between us for a little bit. Then he rolled over and climbed on top of me and gave me a big hug. After breakfast we walked around the park and then went with Grandma over to pebble beach. I let Jacob walk when we got a little closer to the beach and he held Grandma's hand as we walked to the lake. We saw a couple of loons out a ways in the water. Jacob played with some little rocks on the steps. Then we walked over a little ways and sat on a log while Jacob played with some bigger rocks. When we got back, Jacob had his snack and then I lay in the tent with him as he fell asleep. Went to Calument to have lunch at the Evergreen. Just before getting to town I told Jared, "I just saw a couple black bears over there". Later found out Eric saw one in the same spot. Jacob ate chicken tenders and fries with a glass of milk. He really liked to stick his fingers in the ketsup and lick it off. After lunch we walked over to the art gallery and then went through a couple shops. Got Jacob an orr boat and us some taffy. In town it was hot (90's). Back at camp we got things ready and drove over to the Great Sand Bay. Jared said at a certain point out in the Lake the water gets numming cold. Jacob liked running along the beach and playing in the sand. He liked us to chase his and laughed when we caught him. Jared put some water in his bucket and he liked to carry it around.
