This morning as Jared and I lay on the matress we turned over to watch Jacob wake up in his playpen. He stood up, walked around some, and chated away. He didn't notice that we were awake and watching him. Then he fell down and just lay there. I sat up to look and see if he had fallen asleep and noticed his eyes were shut. He opened them quickly, stood up, and smiled at us. Jared said he was just playing oppusum. I got him dressed and we took a walk down to the brush his teeth and hair. He held my hand as we walked down the road. On our way back Uncle Eric held up a cheerios box as we walked by their site. Jacob wanted to stop there. I took him to our site where he had cheerios for breakfast. Jared made eggs for us. After breakfast we walked with Grandma over to the fort. Daddy sat on the cannons with Jacob. Then we took him over to the flagpole where he ran around and around. We walked over to the playground and I took Jacob up to let him slide down to Daddy. We went up again and he had fun playing with the steering wheel. Then it was time for the big slide. Daddy swang with him for a little bit. He was getting very tired so we went back to camp and lay him down for a nap. Jared and I played dominos. Went to town to go through the shops and visit Dennis's place. We got a couple water cups from there. Jacob was taking an evening nap when it was time to go down for ice cream. We put him in his carseat asleep and he slept in the car til we got back. Jared made a fire and Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Kat and Uncle Eric came down. Eric had a new head lamp with night vision. Jacob was laughing hard when he'd change the lights. We made smores tonight.
