I just worked half day today cause its kids day at the fair and I'm taking Jacob along with my sister and her kids, Mom and Kenzie. Bruce came also but had to leave early for work. After work I went to Grandma's to take care of Taylor. It was so nice to see them - its been to long. I groomed her dog and let her look at my 6 rolls of film I had developed. I could hear my Grandpa snoozing in the other room. I also heared grandma laughing as she enjoyed looking at the pictures. Melissa met me at Mom's house and we all headed to the fair. Kenzie road with me and Jacob liked that. He kept looking at her smiling. She talked the whole trip - about volleyball and how she had stepped on a nail yesterday. I was glad to have her along. Jacob fell asleep just as we got there. Melissa said he hadn't slept much for his morning nap and he was very tired. I got Jacob a wristband and my Mom got me one so I could take him on the rides as he was to small to go on alone. Kenzie took him on his first ride which was the train. They sat in front where they could ring the bell. Kenzie is a GREAT helper. Jacob loved alot. Then we took them on the marigoround. I stood with Hailey, Mom took Jacob, and Kenzie went on too. All three kids rode on just about every kids ride there was. Melissa and I rode with them on all the ones we weren't too big for. One of the last ones we rode on was a bus that goes around in fast circles straight up in the air the it reverses. Melissa and I sat on the edges and Kenzie and Jacob in the middle of us. They had fun! Jacob was very, very tired. It was a very hot, sunny day. We took the boys shirts off to help them cool down. I have never seen Jacob so sleepy. Jared got there just as we were going on our last ride. The wristbands only were good til 5pm. We all shared an elephant ear - Jacob like that. Then we went over to give the monkey some change. We walked through all the barns except the horses - but we will be going back. Jacob fell asleep in the stroller and didn't wake up when I put him in the car. I followed Jared on the way home and a cop passed us going the other direction. I saw him put on his brakes and do a U turn right behind me. He passed me and as we turned the corner he put his lights on. He was pulling Jared over. Found out he pulled him over for not having his seatbelt on. The officer gave him a verbal warning for the seatbelt, rear tail light, and noise violation (need a new muffler).

MI is getting quite a reputation with all the law-breakers. 3 from TX buying cell phones and 1 from MI not wearing a seat belt, not knowing where to buy light bulbs or mufflers. GO Michiganders!!!
TX Fantom He He
Not wearing the seat belt man your lucky to just get a warning..they would have thrown the book at you here in Indy!!!! Dont think they would have said anything about the muffler since there are tons of people around here with loud exahusts!!!
Kimmy how come you dont have any pics of the cop pulling him over and giving him his warning?? thougth you slept with that camera!
one last thing...nice shot of that ladies butt bending over behind the kids in the train...good thing Jacob was facing forward or he might have been scarred for life!!
