After dinner Jared and I decided to take Jacob to ride a ride at the fair. When I first sat Jacob on the horse he acted so proud of himself and looked at me with a grin. Then it started to take off and he held ont hand on the pole and other hand tight to me. After a few times around he got brave enough to look around and notice the racecar ride and the lights. He saw Daddy and giggeled. After seeing Daddy he was brave enough to put both hand on the pole and let go of Mommy. He wanted to pet the horse when we were done. Then we walked over to go through the animal barns. Jacob walked around holding our hand and looking at all the different animals. He pet some of the sheep. Then we pet a pigs nose and a cows butt. The cow jump up fast to a standing position and Daddy, Jacob and I continued on our way. We were done petting the cow on that end when we saw what he was laying in. We walked over to pet the calf. Jacob was getting so excited he was chatting away and swinging his arms. Lastly we walked by the goats, ducks, and bunnies. Jacob loved the ducks. There was one that was quacking every time we walk over in front of his cage. Jacob would point and say, "Duck". We had lots of fun and will probably go tomorrow too. There was also this guy with a pet monkey that was all dressed up and he would take quarters from you if you held one out to him. He wouldn't take anything but quarters... no pennies. Funny little guy, Jacob seemed to enjoy handing him a quarter...
