This morning I woke up just before Jacob. Jared and I watched him chating away in the playpen. After a while he held his hands out to me and I lay him between us. This morning Grandma walked over to pebble beach with us to watch Truman go for a swim. I took off Jacob's shoes and rolled up his pants so he and I could walk in the water. We saw a couple orr boats. The water was cold on our feet. We walked over to sit in the sand and Grandma came over and joined us. I wish I could take some of this black sand home for Jacob's sand box. Grandma and Jacob played with the rocks stacking the little ones on top of the bigger ones. Back at camp Jared rebandaged his Dads thumb. Jacob played on his car and then started running around the firepit swinging his arm back and forth. He ran through the path to Grandma's site and then back to ours. He started running around with his hands behind his head being goofy. Then he took a tumble and got some dirt in his mouth. We walked across the road to take a dip in Lake Fanny Howe. We took our chairs and Jacob's car. Uncle Eric and Aunt Kat came over for a little bit to watch Jacob and try to get some pictures of the busy little boy. He fell over in the water and got a mouthful of water which he spit out and made a little fountain. He liked sitting on the dock and looking down at the water below. Jared swam in to get a little boy's shoe that fell into the water. Jacob was sitting on his car and it tiped over into the water. We went into town to visit Grandma at Dennis's place. We overheard that there was a fire out at the point. We drove over to see the monks and get a snack. Jacob fell asleep on the drive there. On the way back we drove up Broakway Mt and saw the smoke caused by the fire at the point. Tonight Uncle Eric was filling his water container and asked Jacob if he wanted to help carry it back. Jacob went over and got our water container and carried it out to the road. Uncle Eric helped him fill it up. A little girl played chase with Jacob on her roller blades and he'd run laughing to Jared or I. Daddy built a fire tonight and Jacob watched him start it. After dark we drove up to Broakway Mt. We looked for any signs of the fire but saw none. The moon was very bright. We did see several orr boats, a shooting star, and some satalites.
