Well, I got up this morning and went to take the dog were watching outside. As I opened the door I noticed the porch was a sheet of ice. I had to be really careful going down the steps with an excited dog pulling on the leash. Due to the icy roads we decided to stay home today. Adam woke up around 8:30 and Jacob slept in until 9am. Got out the blocks this morning and we played a game with Jacob taking turns stacking blocks on top of each other. Daddy built neat things with the blocks and the boys had fun knocking them over. Then Daddy built a tent with a fitted sheet on the couch. Jacob had so much fun playing in the tent and pretended it was raining out. Daddy would stick his head out and pretend his face was getting all wet - this had Jacob laughing really hard. Jacob wanted Adam to come in too. Adam likes to stick things in his mouth and crawl around. Its so funny to see him crawling around the house with a coin or the toy tweezers in his mouth. I was laying down on the floor playing with the boys when I felt Truman's head lay down on top of my head. He's such a good dog and the boys (and us too) sure do love him. I got out 12-18 months clothes for Adam and packed away some of his clothes that don't fit. While the boys were napping I took a nap. I didn't sleep well last night so I was very tired. I lay on the couch and Jared watched the race and read a book. When Jacob woke up he wanted to lay on the couch with me. Mom and Dad came over this evening for a visit. They brought valentines gifts for the boys and Mom had also got them something from her Colorodo visit. Mom brought over chicken noodle casserole that she had made in her crockpot - it was really good. Jacob was a "Nana's boy" tonight. He wanted to sit next to her and read on the couch with the footrest up. When Nana got up and I sat in her spot next to him he quickly told me that was Nana's spot. Then he covered them up with his blanket and they played with his cars.

What a loving family picture in words. I wish spring for you sooner rather than later. It seems Adam is developing a wonderful personality to go along with his brothers. Yes...Truman is a great dog. I'm wondering where little Kate is? Probably in the barn! I'm happy to see Penny and Bill made it to your house. That means that you all are health again.

Tru Tru is such a good and patient dog, isn't he?

I wonder why you are packing the clothes away that Adam has outgrown. Shouldn't you just give them away because they wouldn't be all that appropriate for little girls, would they? Or does it not matter much at this age?

My sister is pregnant and if she has a boy the clothes will work for her. I hang onto them for my sisters kids - not for our little girls:)

Thanks for helping make dinner at your house, and for the yummy coffee. We had a great time and it was so good to see you all healthy again.

Thankyou, Jacob, for taking such good care of Nana and letting me sit by you and play with you. You were so nice too, sharing you blanket with me and making sure my feet were up so I could really relax. You are a special boy. I love you. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Adam, You are getting so big and as cute as ever. I love seeing you crawl all over and play so cute. Here's some hugs and kisses for you ...oxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
