Adam slept all night waking up at 6am to nurse. His temp was 101.2. He and Jacob woke up around 8am and came to lay with me in our room. Adam was really excited to lay next to Jacob and grabbed his arm. Jacob looked at me and said, “uh oh Mommy” as he took Adam hand to pet his arm saying, “be gentle Adam”. Jacob has a temp this morning and a cold. We played with his cars this morning and he kept wraping them up as a present saying they were from Nana and Papa. He climbed up on the couch and started calling, “Meme, Bo, Lailey, Max, come tee me cars”. Bruce stopped by to drop off Champ (their dog) who we are watching for the weekend. The kids didn’t come inside because the boys are sick. Jacob sure liked seeing them through the window. He kept saying “come inside”. We got out the mega blocks to play with as we watched Sesame Street. Then we read Noah’s arch on card’s that you turn over to piece together Noah’s arch (thanks Mel). Jacob loved listening to the story and watching as the cards pieced together the arch. He then colored a Noah’s arch picture and cut some pieces of paper with his scissors. He waved his paper in the air saying, “Look Mommy, I made a kite”. Adam was very fussy but was happy if I walked around with him. His temp was back to normal before his nap. While the boys were napping I cut Champ’s hair. He fought having it done the whole time, especially when doing his face. He is an old dog so I had to give him some breaks. It took me awhile to do but I was done before the boys woke up. I was happy to get a call from my Mom to hear that her and Mel’s plane had landed safely and they were visiting my aunt in the hospital. My mom bought me a food processor (like the magic bullet) and I wanted to try it out. Its a lot of fun to use and works great for making baby food. Jared stopped at meijer for a few things on his way home from work. He picked me up pop tarts and when Jacob pulled them out of the bag he said, "Look, Daddy got Mommy pop tarts". I’ve been sick but am getting better. After dinner I lay on the couch and Jacob climbed up with me. He turned and rubbed my head saying, “you ok Mommy”. He gave me a hug and then said, “uh oh, I gotta get Mommy me blankey”. He covered me up and then tucked in the sides saying, “Gotta tuck ewe in like a bwetto”. Adam’s fever was back up again this evening. He started to fuss after I was done nursing him until I said, “let’s read a book”. As soon as I said book he stopped fussing and smiled. After that I took his temp (which was 102.8) and lay him in his crib. He fell asleep right away. I woke him back up at 10:30 to give him another dose of Tylenol. After I gave it to him he threw up. I held him on the floor and rocked him. When I’d try and pull him back to see his face he’d push into me and tuck his head tight on my shoulder. I took him to our bedroom and rocked him by the computer. He started talking and then looked up to watch the pictures scroll through on the screen saver. He was being really funny. Every time a new picture would come up he’d say something and then stick his hand up in the air. Then he’d put it back down and look at me smiling. He did this again and again. He was happy when I lay him back in his crib. He said, “dada” a few times and then fell right to sleep.

The uncut dog picture is crazy. What a cute little thing is discovered under allthat hair when the trimmers comes out. Love the pictures of the grandbabies. What precious children. I accessed a live web cam in Calumet Michigan. Brrrrr. One more day in the sun. It's been fabulous.

That before picture of Champ is too funny. It sure was getting long. What a difference now that his hair is cut. That was a good idea to take a picture of him by the pile of hair afterwards. At first I thought it was another dog laying their. I didn't realize it was just his hair until I enlarged the picture. Thanks so much for cutting his hair and watching him for me. Looks like he feels right at home there. Hailey always covers him up with her blankie and he loves it.

There was a dog under all that hair. Nice hair cut, Kimmy. You are the best dog groomer anywhere.
