Adam was sick this morning with puking and diarrhea. I changed his outfit five times in an 1 1/2 hrs. Adam woke up at 5:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep like he always does. He woke Jacob up at 7:30. Watched Curious George and Clifford. Then I got things packed up to head over to Mom's house. Adam had an appointment at the doctors and his office near her house. We were going to hang out at her house until his appointment even though she was gone taking care of my Grandpa. Dad came home on his lunch break and Adam loved when he chased him. Jacob showed Papa how he counted - Papa gave him two quarters to put in his wallet. We left to be at Adam's appointment at 1:10pm. Adam was doing better by this time and hadn't puked of had any diarrhea since we left home. His appointment went very well. He weighed 21 pounds 11.5 ounces and was 29 and 3/4 inches long. Adam only cried while he was getting poked. They gave him his vaccinations since he didn't have a fever. Jacob was very well behaved for the appointment and was excited to pick out a green sucker to take home. Jacob really wanted to go back and see Nana so we stopped by for a visit. Jacob got a snack and sat up at the table. He never took a bite and started to really complain that his belly hurt. He wanted his blanket which was in the car. I went out to get it and when I came in he started puking ALOT. We moved him to the kitchen and he finished puking in there. He seemed really scared. He had never thrown up before and it was coming out of his nose too. Got him out of his dirty clothes and wrapped him in he blankey. He went to lay on the couch while we cleaned up the mess. Nana left to pick up Kenzie from school. Jacob came back out to the kitchen and started puking again. While I was comforting Jacob I saw Adam crawling towards the puke. Then I heard Adam fill his diaper again. Got both of them cleaned up. When Nana got back we found a bucket for him to puke in. He did really good at using it. Got the kids in the car and headed for home. I set the bucket between the car seats and told Jacob to puke in the bucket so he could keep his blanket and clothes clean. We were driving for about 10 min and I looked in the rear view mirror to see Jacob holding the bucket up to his mouth - then he used it and set it back down. He and Adam both fell asleep. When we got home I took off his coat and shoes and lay him in bed. He sat up and puked on his jacket (the bucket was still in the car). Adam had diarrhea again so I was changing him when Jacob came running out of his room saying he had to go pee. Instead he puked in the toilet and went back to bed. I was nursing Adam and heard Jacob puking. I set Adam down to go check on Jacob and he was standing at his bedroom door. He said, "Mommy, I puked in me bucket" and then gave me a hug. I made him a bed on the couch and put the Cars movie in for him to watch. I gave him some pedialyte and he said, "tanks Mommy". He took a few sips but then he was done with that. By now he was just puking yellow bile. Daddy brought him home some sprite and a surprise. He got him a blue corvette hot wheels car. That brought a big smile on his face. Drinking the sprite just seemed to make him puke more. It was projectile out of his nose and mouth and he was so scared. Adam puked up his dinner but no more diarrhea the rest of the evening. Jacob did pretty good at telling us when he felt like puking. He'd cover his mouth and say, "I gonna puke", grab the bucket, or just have that sick look on his face and sit up. We put the sprite away and gave him back the pedialyte telling him it would make him feel better. He drank it and seem to feel better after that. By then it was 9pm. He had a lot of puking and some diarrhea between 2:30 and 9. It is 11:30 now and he is asleep on the air matress next to our bed.

You have two sick kids!!!!! I can't remember that happening with JB and Eric. Woo...The hope is that you stay well. Blankets and even yellow bears can get washed. Bath towels everwhere is another suggestion.

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!

Jacob looks sick in the pictures. Poor kid. Don't tell him how much more puking hurts when you grow up and have to push the gunk up so much farther.
