Jared was up a lot during the night last night. He still wasn't feeling well this morning so he decided to stay home from work. Adam woke up during the night. He was crying so I went in his room to check on him and found he had a very messy diaper. I heard Jacob from his bedroom say, "Adam its ok, no cry Adam". I lay Adam back in his crib and he slept until 5:30am. He didn't puke after I nursed him this morning. Jacob woke up at 7:30 and came into our bed. Adam woke up at 9am. I made Jared a gaideraide slushy this morning. Jacob munched on a few cheerios but didn't want breakfast. I fed Adam his breakfast but he puked it all up as soon as he was done. While the boys were napping today I went to take a couple packages to the post office. The roads were bad due to the weather. Adam was awake when I got back. He played with his toys and hung out with Daddy while I went outside to take care of the animals. When I got inside I made a coffee and enjoyed watching Adam play. He's so much fun to watch. He'll play with something for a long time and then crawl to something else. His favorite seems to be Jacob's pet Dr kit. He likes to stick things in the doors. Another thing he likes is the blocks especially the round ones which he rolls across the kitchen floor. Jacob slept for 3 hrs. Got the playdoh out this evening. I made him a pool and some round people. I put on the the people in the pool and he said, "uh oh, gotta get dem out, gotta take of dear clothes". Jared was able to hold down some chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight. Truman had a lot of drool hanging from his mouth when he was staring at some food. Jared and I were talking and Jacob came over with his blanket and said, "I wiped off TruTru's drool with me blankey". I noticed the drool was gone. Adam had a huge messy diaper this evening. It was up his back and down his legs. He had fun in the bath tub tonight. I nursed him, read to him, and lay him in his crib. After Jacob's bath he wanted to cuddle under the blankets with Daddy.

Jacob is opening his package from Aunt Bippi, Uncle RaRa, and Kenzie. Thanks guys!

Adam likes to chew on my hood ties - the car he has is one Jacob calls "Grandpa car".

Jacob woke up a few times during the night to use the potty. At around 3am he woke up and lay in his mattress saying "tet timer" because he wanted to get up. He fell back to sleep around 5:30. Jared woke up around 5am and said he thought he was getting what the boys had. He was so sick and I tried to talk him into staying home. After puking he said he felt a little better and he went to work. Adam woke up to nurse around 5:15. Before I layed him in his crib he puked all over the floor in his bedroom. I got the floor cleaner out and clean up the mess and then Adam fell right to sleep. Both boys slept until around 8am. Adam had a very messy diaper when he woke up. Jacob had bad diarrhea on the potty and looked up at me and said, "wow, what dat Mommy". Mom called and said Grandpa, Kenzie, and Hailey all have the same sickness. Adam played in his highchair and drank some pedialyte. Jacob and I sat at the table and looked through magazine for pictures to cut out and paste on construction paper. I gave Jacob a pair of scissors but he wanted me to cut for him. I could tell he was very tired already this morning. He'd point to some things for me to cut out and then he'd paste them on his paper. I did my own paper and he told me mine looked cute. He cut the corners of his paper and was excited to show me he had cute a triangle. Jared came home around 11am. He was very sick and I made him a bed on the couch. Jacob wanted to show him his paper he had made. I took the boys into Adam's bedroom to play hoping Jared could get some sleep. I got out the racetrack and Jacob said, "I toe excited". Then we went to our bedroom to play some Curious George and Clifford games on the internet. Adam lay down for his nap around 1:30 and Jacob around 2pm. Both of them fell asleep so quickly - they were very tired. I left to go to meijer and get some chicken noodle soup. Vikki called and she had taken Kenzie to the doctor. Her doctor recommended things like gateraide, jello, applesauce, and banana's. Jared was drinking water but couldn't keep it down and sprite didn't sound good to him. I decided to go back to meijer and get him the things the doctor recommended for Kenzie. I talked to Kenzie and she told me to tell Uncle Jared not to drink too fast and ice chip really help her. She also recommended a wet cloth for his head. When I got back from the store I made the jello and got it cooling in the fridge and unloaded/loaded the dishwasher. The orange gateraide settled good with Jared. I went outside to feed the animals and get some buckets of corn for the corn burner. When I got back inside Adam had just woke up. He had slept for 4 hours. Adam likes to play "where's Mommy". He pulls the blanket off my head and smiles when I say "her I am". Then he tries to put the blanket back over my head. It was 7pm and Jacob was still asleep. I woke him up and rocked him so he would be able to get to sleep at bedtime. He was happy to get a package in the mail for Aunt Bippi, Uncle RoRo, and Kenzie. It was a Lightning McQueen placemat. He wanted to take it and show Daddy right away. He put it back up on the counter and played with his cars on it. I got out the dominos for us to play with and Jacob like knocking them down after we lined them up. We built roads with them to drive his cars through. Even after their long naps the boys were still tired at bedtime. They sat on my lap during the first half of American Idol and then Jacob went over to lay with Daddy. I got them in bed and then came out to watch Lost with Jared. The boys did better today - less puking for Adam (none for Jacob) - both of them still have diarrhea and less of an appetite but their drinking good.

Adam was sick this morning with puking and diarrhea. I changed his outfit five times in an 1 1/2 hrs. Adam woke up at 5:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep like he always does. He woke Jacob up at 7:30. Watched Curious George and Clifford. Then I got things packed up to head over to Mom's house. Adam had an appointment at the doctors and his office near her house. We were going to hang out at her house until his appointment even though she was gone taking care of my Grandpa. Dad came home on his lunch break and Adam loved when he chased him. Jacob showed Papa how he counted - Papa gave him two quarters to put in his wallet. We left to be at Adam's appointment at 1:10pm. Adam was doing better by this time and hadn't puked of had any diarrhea since we left home. His appointment went very well. He weighed 21 pounds 11.5 ounces and was 29 and 3/4 inches long. Adam only cried while he was getting poked. They gave him his vaccinations since he didn't have a fever. Jacob was very well behaved for the appointment and was excited to pick out a green sucker to take home. Jacob really wanted to go back and see Nana so we stopped by for a visit. Jacob got a snack and sat up at the table. He never took a bite and started to really complain that his belly hurt. He wanted his blanket which was in the car. I went out to get it and when I came in he started puking ALOT. We moved him to the kitchen and he finished puking in there. He seemed really scared. He had never thrown up before and it was coming out of his nose too. Got him out of his dirty clothes and wrapped him in he blankey. He went to lay on the couch while we cleaned up the mess. Nana left to pick up Kenzie from school. Jacob came back out to the kitchen and started puking again. While I was comforting Jacob I saw Adam crawling towards the puke. Then I heard Adam fill his diaper again. Got both of them cleaned up. When Nana got back we found a bucket for him to puke in. He did really good at using it. Got the kids in the car and headed for home. I set the bucket between the car seats and told Jacob to puke in the bucket so he could keep his blanket and clothes clean. We were driving for about 10 min and I looked in the rear view mirror to see Jacob holding the bucket up to his mouth - then he used it and set it back down. He and Adam both fell asleep. When we got home I took off his coat and shoes and lay him in bed. He sat up and puked on his jacket (the bucket was still in the car). Adam had diarrhea again so I was changing him when Jacob came running out of his room saying he had to go pee. Instead he puked in the toilet and went back to bed. I was nursing Adam and heard Jacob puking. I set Adam down to go check on Jacob and he was standing at his bedroom door. He said, "Mommy, I puked in me bucket" and then gave me a hug. I made him a bed on the couch and put the Cars movie in for him to watch. I gave him some pedialyte and he said, "tanks Mommy". He took a few sips but then he was done with that. By now he was just puking yellow bile. Daddy brought him home some sprite and a surprise. He got him a blue corvette hot wheels car. That brought a big smile on his face. Drinking the sprite just seemed to make him puke more. It was projectile out of his nose and mouth and he was so scared. Adam puked up his dinner but no more diarrhea the rest of the evening. Jacob did pretty good at telling us when he felt like puking. He'd cover his mouth and say, "I gonna puke", grab the bucket, or just have that sick look on his face and sit up. We put the sprite away and gave him back the pedialyte telling him it would make him feel better. He drank it and seem to feel better after that. By then it was 9pm. He had a lot of puking and some diarrhea between 2:30 and 9. It is 11:30 now and he is asleep on the air matress next to our bed.

Adam trying on Uncle Bruce's hat.

This morning I woke up with Jared as he was getting ready for work. I realized that Adam hadn't woke up at his usual time (5:30-6am) to nurse. I went into his room to check on him and covered him up. Very quickly he lifted his head up and stood up. After I was done nursing him in our bed he puked all over me, himself and the bed. I got him and me cleaned up and tucked him back in his crib. Then I got the sheets of the bed and into the wash. Jacob slept in until 8:30 and Adam slept until 9am. When Adam woke up he had a very messy diaper. Jacob brought his stool in by the changing table and wanted to help me. He got me a diaper, wet wipes, the cream and threw away his dirty diaper for me. We left the house at 10:30 to head over to my Mom's house. Before we had left Adam messed through an outfit and we changed him into something clean. On the way to Mom's we stopped at Walgreen's and Tim Horton's. As soon as we got in the door at Mom's Adam puked up his breakfast. Got him changed and set him on the floor to play. Minutes later he had diarrhea again and messed another outfit. Gave the boys their lunch and before I could get Adam out of his highchair he puked up all over. Another outfit. Nursed him - then he had diarrhea. New clothes again. Good thing Nana washed his other outfits. I decided to run to the store to pick him up some pedialyte. He didn't have a temp and was acting ok. He didn't much care for the pedialyte and made a funny face for each sip. Jacob was a "Nana's boy" and wanted her (not me) to play with him. He kept going up to her and saying, "ewe wanna play me Nana, ewe wanna play me". She sat down with him and they played with his cars on a playmat. Then they sat on the couch and looked at his tractor book. Nana rocked Adam to sleep and layed him in the playpen. Jacob layed down for a little bit but got up when Hailey and Max arrived at 3:30. The kids were very excited to see each other and played well together. Mel, Bruce, and Mom left to go to Mel's 3D ultrasound. Soon Adam woke up. Hailey wanted to play Londen Bridges so we played that. They also loved when we played a train. Dad dropped Kenzie off around 4pm and then he left to go back to work. Kenzie gave all the kids Valentines cards with animal tatoos. We all put our tatoos on. Mel and Bruce brought cupcakes for everyone with pink and blue frosting. The clue to what they were having was inside the cupcake. Inside was a football candy - Its a BOY!!!!!!!! We were all very excited. Mom made a dinner and she hurried around to get things ready for their Bible study. We left before we got trapped in by all the cars. Headed over to Grandpa's house so Jared and Bruce could work on getting my Grandpa's snow cab put on his tractor. Mel and I stayed in the house with Grandpa and the kids. They all had fun playing together. Grandpa has a small dog cage the the kids played in. Kenzie, Jacob, and Hailey all squeezed inside it together and got the door shut. Kenzie and Hailey went outside for a little while and played on some ice on the pavement. The boys fell asleep on the drive home and stayed asleep when we layed them down for bed.

Adam woke up at 5:30 to nurse and then slept for about a hour. Jacob woke up around 8:00 and we watched Curious George and Clifford. Adam had fun pushing the stool all over the kitchen on his knees and then on his feet. Then he went out and pushed Jacob's tricycle around in circles. Got the boys new car seats today. Jacob was really excited jumping up and down as I took them out of the boxes. He got to pick out which one was for him and which one was going to be Adam's. He said, "I get grey one, Adam gets black and grey one". Then he got his pillow and blanket off his bed and curled up on his car seat. He had lots of fun playing in the boxes. When Jared got home from work we took a drive into town to get diapers, dog and cat food. Both the boys seemed to love their car seats. They sit up higher and loved looking out the window. Jacob kept saying, "I tee another car, here comes a truck" and he'd throw his hands up in the air and cheer as they drove by. Before he'd always complain that his car seat was too tight and this trip he never complained once. In the grocery store Jacob wanted to ride on the end of the cart. Jared and I let him even though we were worried he might step off while the cart was moving. Dispite our warnings to let us know when he wanted down, he saw something and hopped off. The cart ran into his ankle and sent him down to the floor, smacking his face/chin hard. Now to go with his black eye he has a fat lip. He walked holding my hand and we took him to see the fish and the lobsters. Adam had more fun this evening pushing around trucks and the ride on car. Jared picked up a "Where's Waldo" book for .50 at Salvation army. Jacob even found Waldo on his own on a couple pages. We'd turn the page and Jacob would say, "Waldo, where are you?".

Jacob and Daddy cuddling on the couch and watching the race.

Jacob put these socks on (he said there his favorite socks) and fell asleep like this.

We all slept in this morning so we went to the 11:00 service instead of 9:30. When we picked Jacob up from his class he was excited because the teacher was making him an airplane. Got pizza for lunch. Jared went outside to set a large pile of brush on fire. Jacob liked watching from the window. While the boys were napping I went outside to clean our car. Then Jared and I wormed the goats and sheep. Watched the race this evening.

Adam woke up early this morning. He was up at 4:30 and then woke up at 7am. At 7:00 I brought him to our bed and he was happy and talking lots. He kept touching Daddy's face - he likes to grab your nose. Truman was laying in bed and he was excited when he noticed him. Jacob came and joined us in our bed at 8. When he first came to the room he said, "uh oh, I gotta get me blankey, me drink, and me john deere book, I be right back, I hurry" as he pointed his finger at me. He loves his John Deere book and wants to take it everywhere with him. He even sleeps with it. Adam slept in the car on our trip to town. After our donut/muffin trip we stopped at Salvation army, Goodwill, PetSmart, and TSC. Jacob loved the pet store. We looked at all the animals and Jacob climbed up on the bench to watch the groomers clipping the dogs hair. When we got home it was lunchtime. A little later Jared when back into town to get something he had decided to buy from Salvation army and put on ebay. He also wanted to stop at Lowes. This evening we went to my Mom and Dad's house. Vikki and Rody also came over(thanks for calling us Vik). Mom made a wonderful dinner and we had a great visit. After dinner Dad and Jared went down to play pingpong and Jacob went downstairs with them to play. We watched American Idol which was taped from last week. The boys were very tired and both fell asleep in the car on the drive home. Before falling asleep, Jacob looked at me and said, "Mommy, I pall alleep in me car seat?". Then he said, "No me pall alleep in me car seat, I leep in me bed".

Jacob woke up really early this morning and had peed a little in his pull up and he wanted to take it off. We took it off and he used the potty - then he went back to sleep. This morning I noticed Truman had bad diarrhea. He also would eat or drink. With it being Friday and Truman's history of eating things he shouldn't we decided to make him an appointment with the vet. They gave us a 10:45 appointment. We stopped to pick up Jared from work on the way. As soon as we walked into the vet Truman left a mess on their rug. I was so happy to get to talk to everyone from my old work and we had a nice visit. Truman exam with Dr Gary went well. His gut sounds were normal and he hasn't had any vomiting so he didn't think we had to worry about an obstruction (GREAT news) but he was running a fever. He gave him an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory injection and sent us home with some medicines for him. Truman gets boiled hamburger and rice meals for a couple days. On the way to take Jared back to work we stopped at McDonald's for lunch. Adam had fun sitting in the highchair and pounding on the table. We all had fun. After leaving Jared's work we stopped at meijer for a few things. The boys were tired but neither one wanted to take a nap this afternoon. Adam had slept for a few minutes in the car. When I went to tell Jacob he could get up I found that he had emptied his sock drawer and had all of them on his bed. He had put a new pair on his feet - it was so cute how proud he was as he looked down at his feet and smiled up at me. He then brought them all out to the couch and gave Adam a couple to play with. They sure had fun playing with the socks. I cleaned up the kitchen and cleaned out the microwave. Patty and her son came by to pick up their dog. Jacob and Colton had fun playing together and gave each other a really big hug goodbye. They boys were really tired tonight and were both asleep by 8:30.
