This morning it was 38 degrees outside. There was frost on the windows of the Saturn. Got Jacob up and dressed and then he wanted to play with his tractors. Then we went out to the kitchen for breakfast. Jared went out to start his car so he could defrost the windows. The heater in his car wouldn't work. He shut it off and went to start my car. Then he tried his again - this time it worked. Had to put a warm jacket on Jacob and he looked so cute. When we got to Nana's it was time for her to leave and take Kenzie to school. I put Jacob right in her car. I called Jared around 1:45 cause he usually calls at 1pm. He said he just got back to work. He and the other guy there went to Ace hardware in the saturn to get some fittings for our tractor. He started the car when they left the hardware store and something under the steering wheel caught on fire. It smoked thick smoke for about 10 seconds. He decided to take the car home and trade for the truck. He noticed a wire was fried. After work Mom had Jacob all ready and I left right away. I had to get home cause we are going to look at corn burners. We ended up getting the one Jared had looked at the other day. It should pay for itself in the money we save within a couple years. Thats what we are going to use to heat the house. Jacob ran around from fireplace to fireplace touching each one. Tonight Daddy was chasing Jacob into the pink room where I was folding laundry. Jacob was laughing really hard and wanted to do it over and over. Later we went into his bedroom cause he wanted to throw his diaper away. Then he asked to play with his tractors. I got them down for him and he set them on top of the diaper disposal bin. He likes to play with them on the floor and then set them up there. He heard Daddy talking and ran towards the door holding his tractor out. I told him to keep the tractor in his room. He turned around and put the tractor back on the bin. Then he just stood there looking at me. I said, "Go ahead and show Daddy your tractor". He got a smile on his face and took it out to Daddy. Daddy came in the room with us. We ready some books and then he walked over to Truman and Kate to say goodnight. Then he ran down the hall to Daddy.
