Jacob and I have been sick all week. Jacob is back to himself and I am getting there. I had a really bad "cold" started on Monday. I don't want to touch another kleenex to my nose. After work tonight I picked Jacob up from Nana's. Kenzie was there so I asked her if she wanted to spend the night and go to the balloon fest in Midland. Of course she said yes. When we got home Jared wasn't there. He left a note that he went to town to get some parts for our new tractor. By the way we finally got our new tractor on Wednesday. I got to ride it around and its really cool. Jacob sat up there parked in the barn pretending he was driving. He would pull all the levers and pretend to beep the horn. Jared got home and we went back into town to get gas for the tractor and one more part. When we got home we ate dinner and then got ready to go to the balloon fest. It was really neat. I think this is our 4th year going. It fun when the light up all the hot air balloons at once. Jacob kept saying, "that" and pointing. Kenzie like looking at all the dogs. After we left we stopped at McDonalds for ice cream cones. I ate mine down to a couple inches of cone and ice cream and gave it to Jacob. Then I took the last bite for myself cause he wanted to shove the whole bottom in his mouth. Kenzie and Jacob shared her's. She'd take a lick and then hand it to Jacob. Then he'd take a lick and hand it back. When we got home Kenzie and Jacob brushed their teeth and then we read books. After Jacob was in bed we played a game of tonk. I won a game finally. Still not feeling that great so I off to bed. Kenzie is sleeping in the pink room with Truman in bed with her.
