I got up during the night to check on Jacob and give him some tylenol. Most the night his temp was around 102. By morning it was down to 100.5. I'd hear him whimpering during the night. His leg was still very sore in the morning. He'd cry when I touch it. Otherwise he was in a very happy mood this morning. Nana picked him up from Aunt Missy's this afternoon. When I got to her house Jacob was just waking up from his afternoon nap. Kenzie, Hailey, and Max were there also. Melissa and Bruce had gone out for dinner. Hailey and Kenzie took a doll in the bathroom to give her a bath. Jacob sat by me and played with the blocks. Max crawled over to us. He looked at Jacob with a smile. We put the foam blocks away cause Max wanted to chew on them. Nana got Jacob a drink of water in a sports bottle. Max crawled over so Jacob put the bottle in his mouth to give him a drink. Hailey asked if she could have a drink and Jacob gave it to her. Nana fed Max his dinner. He was fine until he saw the kids playing train and he wanted to get down with them. Jacob led, then Kenzie, and Hailey brought up the rear. Jacob loved leading them around. He really likes to play with his cousins. He gave Kenzie a kiss and she tickeled him on the bean bag. Kenzie again thanked me for taking her to Indiana with us. She told me about school and how she liked her new teacher. We had to leave to get home and take care of the animals. First Jacob walked over to the chickens. He walked all around the fense looking at them. Then we took a walk over by his swingset. He played on his truck, putting down the tailgate and sitting in back. He thought it was fun to put rocks down the crack of the tailgate. We went inside for dinner. I layed on the bed in our room and Jacob wanted up too. I'd let him up and he would climb down. He would run to the other side of the bed. Then I got off the bed and hid on him. He jumped and laughed really hard when I popped up. He wanted to do that over and over. Then I hid under a blanket. He thought that was funny so he turned around and sat next to me to hide under the blanket with me. Jacob brushed his teeth and then we got his pj's on. I took his temp and it was ~100 degrees. He likes me to put the ear thermometor in and he wanted to try it himself. I had him put it in his ear and then in mine. Then he grabbed the brush and wanted to brush my hair. Jared called and I was so happy to talk with him.
