Trip to Indiana

After work on Friday we went spend some time at Melissa's befor going to the movie theator to see "Pirates or the Caribean" with four other people from my work. Went we got home it was time to pack for the trip to Indiana tomorrow. Set the alarm for 3:30am and were on the road by 4:15. Jacob slept til about 7:45am. When we stopped at a rest area we all got out to stretch. Jared tried to take Jacob over to walk in the grass but Jacob kept pointing at the big semi trucks. He wanted Daddy to pick him up and take him over by them. We went as close as we could get to them and Jacob was so excited. We got there around 10 o'clock. We snuck in the house and walked upstairs to suprise Grandma. She turned around and I don't think was expecting us to be there. Jacob lay down for his nap at ~11am (later than his usual time) and we had some lunch outside. At 2:15 I went upstairs to wake Jacob so he could eat lunch. Took Grandma for a ride in the new car and went to the sprinkler play spot for kids. Jacob had lots of fun and really loved to play with the wheels for turning the water pressure up or down. He pretended to beep the horn and had to stand on his toes to reach. He saw a little boy run through the rushing water so he did the same and smiled. After playing for a while he got so tired that he kept falling down. On the way back we stopped at Aunt Mary Kay & Uncle Phil's house. When we got back we looked through the things of Jared's Grandmother and Grandfather that Uncle Dee had brought up. I had fun looking through the things and reading the letters from his Grandfather to his Grandmother before they were even married. We looked at all the old pictures. Aunt Kat and Uncle Eric came over and we had dinner. Jared and Eric divided the marbles and we went through the jewelry. After dinner Jacob took a nap and us 4 played dominos. We stopped playing shortly after Jacob woke up and I think I ended up being 4th winner. Got the couch/bed ready and Jacob's playpen ready for bed. Jacob didn't sleep well tonight. I brought him in bed with us a couple times. He woke up at 6am. I was pretended to sneeze and he would copy me and say "chu". I fed him his oatmeal while Jared went to the gas station to get me a capiccino. At around 8:30am we lay Jacob down for an early nap before church. He fell asleep quickly and slept until it was time to leave. We pack a few things up and then sat to looked at some more of Jared's grandparents things. Jacob went in the nursery at church. He cried when I left but I heard him stop right away when they picked him up and I was gone. After church we went out to eat at Steak-n-shake. Jacob got his first ordered meal for himself. Usually he eats some of ours. Then we went to "Once upon a Child". Grandma played with Jacob while we packed up the car. On the way home there was a huge bus pulling a trailer going ~80mph and driving all over both lanes. I was watching him as he swerved and made other vehicles go off the road. Jared called 911 and they said they would sent the State police. For miles we watched him going all over the highway. I kept telling Jared to stay ahead of him cause I didn't want him to smash into us. I was so scared. We say him swerve in between two semi truch and almost hit one. Then we saw a State police. Right after the guy put on his blinker and got off the exit. The police didn't follow him. We went back and he was parked behind the gas station with the semi trucks. I don't know if he was drunk or just very tired. Jacob fell asleep with his hands over his eyes (pictured below). Was so cute I had to take a picture. We I very tired and both my boys are asleep.
