I finished painting the gravity wagon today during Adam's am nap. Jacob played outside catching grasshoppers. When they'd get away from him he come ask me to help him find another one. He said to me, "look Mama, I painting" as he pretended to paint his truck with the frizzy end of his rope. I gave him the extra foam paint brush and a bucket of water and he had lots of fun painting his truck, the wooden ladder, the tire on Daddy's truck, his truck again. He looked at me and said, "da ton dried up me paint". He climbed up on the truck so he could paint the roof of it. Jared had me meet him at the auto shop so he could leave the saturn there to be looked at - its leaking coolant. Jacob fell asleep just a few minutes after we left. Adam played happily with his toys. He loves to pull the canopy on his carseat down to his lap. We went to Tim Hortons, Meijer, and TSC. Jared got some adaptors for his air compressor - the one nozzle Jacob had fun with.

Now we have to take it to get weighed and then it will be ready to fill up with corn for the winter. Glad to have it done.

Jacob woke up around 8:15 and we cuddled in the warm bed for a little bit.

We got up and dressed warm to go outside to feed the animals. Jacob didn't want to do any of the feeding this morning he just wanted to get back inside to play with his firetruck. Adam was his cuddly self this morning and I rocked him for awhile. He took a nap right after lunch and so Jacob went outside to plant the flowers I got for my birthday. I dug a hold and Jacob dropped the bulbs in. He loved covering them with the dirt and patting it down. I watered them with the hose and gave Jacob a bucket to help. Then he wanted to use the hose. He got really wet and muddy. We played for a little bit inside and then it was time for his nap. As soon as he fell asleep Adam woke up. We had fun together - he sure does enjoy looking at books. He gets really excited when he sees this certain baby on one page in his book. When Jared got home from work we headed over to the pumpkin patch and picked out a couple for carving. Jacob loved the wagon ride and also loved racing Daddy back to the car. We were the only visitors there as it is a weekday and they were soon to be closing. At dinner Jacob was looking at his new cars to his set and said, "I NEED racetrack". He will be excited to get the one from Nana for Christmas. He loves just watching the video/demo of it on the computer.

Our server was down last night and this morning. Yesterday I made Jacob some paper boats and he had fun coloring them and playing with them. He'd put his people in them and push them around. While the boys took their nap today I painted the inside of the gravity wagon. Adam woke up just as I was finishing. Kenzie called and asked if she could stay the night. Jared picked her up after work. She helped me take care of the animals and found a caterpillar. She named it and wanted to keep it. I got her a container and she made it a nice home. She helped me make choc shakes and they laughed at each others milk mustaches. Kenzie asked if she could read Jacob his bedtime stories.

house early this morning. Jacob really wanted to go in and see Nana but I knew it was her only day to sleep in. When we got home the phone rang and it was Mom saying she wished we'd have come in to visit. Adam took an early morning nap. Jacob played outside while I did some painting on the gravity wagon. Jeanne and Leonard came over to visit and brought Jacob an old Tonka firetruck. He has had lots of fun with it all day. Not long after they left my Dad came over for lunch. We had a nice visit and I was really glad he stopped by. It was a beautiful day and we spent much of the day outside. After Jared came home the sun went away and the rain came. I love rainy evenings. I got a nice email from Celeste's new owners and some pictures. Seem she has finally met her match - Jake (a belgian draft) is in charge. I was very glad to her how well she is doing.

Today we did some more painting on our gravity wagon. The John Deere green looks nice. Jacob helped Daddy feed the dogs - Kate went over to Truman's dish and Jacob put his hand in front of her saying, "No Kate, Kate dish right dere" as he pointed at her dish. Jared and Jacob were looking at a ladybug and it started to stink. Jacob came over to me and said, "Pee-ewe". Adam tried banana's today for the first time - he loved them. Later as I tucked Jacob in bed he told me, "me brush teeth and Daddy help me, I make tiny Mama" as he showed me his teeth. Then he said, "kiss, hug, a pive" because he wanted to give me a kiss, hug and a high five.

Still have some of the frame to paint on the gravity wagon but we got alot done this weekend. Soon we will be filling it with corn so we can heat our house.
