Jacob's 2nd Birthday!!!!!

I walked down the hallway this morning to find a happy little birthday boy. He was all smiles. He sat at the table and ate his breakfast. After brushing his teeth, we got him dressed. It was cold out this morning. He wanted to watch his tractor video so we put that in for him. Grandma R. sat next to Jacob on the piano and played Happy birthday while singing to him. Jacob played some notes also and bounced a little as she sang. Today is my Grandma's funeral so we had to leave early for that. Jacob was able to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa R. Adam came with us and slept most of the time. The funeral was emotionally hard for me but I am thankful to have many great memories with my Grandma. When we got home Jacob was napping, though he woke up shortly after we got there. We all went outside and Jacob played in the sand with his tractors. It was very cloudy outside but had warmed up a little. We went inside to make pizza for dinner - its Jacob's favorite. When we ask Jacob how old he is he holds up one finger and says two. Grandma asked him who's birthday it was and he said, "Mine" which is one of his favorite words right now. My parents are also coming over to celebrate Jacob's turning two. After dinner Jacob got to open his presents. First he opened a Animal doctor kit from Uncle Eric, Aunt Kat, and Andrew which he loved. I had to do some coxing to get him to open another present. All the presents he opened he loved. He got so excited when he opened his tractors and the easel. Then it was time for cake and ice cream. Jacob loved when everyone sang to him and also loved blowing out the candles. He got to blow them out several times. He enjoyed his birthday cake and even decided he didn't need a fork or his hands to eat it. After eating he ran around the house playing with his balloon.
